It seems to me that after those have taken themselves out of the frame, that a vote would be in order on a short list, just a sugestion. It would seem that at present we have:

Musty
Norway
Aswan
Bonymaen

Not sure if there's anyone else, who wishes, to put themselves forward!.......................

Do you actually read these posts? As a mod you have to be scrupulously careful. Cyprus pointed out you never mentioned bongo's job. Now I'm pointing out that my reasons were in an earlier post that you clearly haven't read. What a muppet.

When he told you to " leave the form " he was Phil the poster , when he told you " he values your input " he's Phil the mod ... Mods must be able to separate themselves from being mods , to enjoy why there here in the first place , to banter & talk football .

Well I decided to take the advice others ignored, I logged off for a while and looking at the commentsil has helped a lot. leyt me answer a few points and make one comment,

Will a Cardiff fan decide who is the Swansea mod, no, and TBH it scares me to think anyone thought it would, epecialy looking at my realier comments. Am I intrested in what a Cardiff fan thinke, to true I am.

In the selection of many mods I have PM'd mods or fans of their main rivals, I did explain that earlier, why. Well because those are the people who tend to know the best posters for the job. Their view is far from the deciding factor but it does help.

This thread was all about suggestions, not a vote, not a fight but suggestions and IMO both the mods, Phil and Swamp have helped by showing me a problem. I deal with mods every single day, every day there is some sort of problem and every day the mods work with me and importantly together to defuse and find solutions, do you to think you helped defuse today?

Anymore suggestions please add on and I will look again over the weekend, I know now that a few have ruled themselves out but would appreciate a PM from the others with their views.

 

Sorry I haven't been about much the last few days. Been struggling to get past all the aforementioned bollocks and any time I tried to stop it in the past I got accused of being a mini-Hitler. I just hope if there is a new mod to help out, people actually accept the decision to close a thread/moderate posts and don't spend days harping on about how they're human rights have been infringed...

Presumably.you watch Match of the Day on a regular basis. Does that mean that you should be involved in team selections?

 

All mentioned would be good mods , including Norway . If my life depended on picking one it would be ASwan_Dam . A good balance between laid back & quick on the draw when seeing something wrong IMO !

 

Thanks for all the good wishes re job guys ,much appreciated.Six months out was a bit of a bugger, but i count myself lucky it was only six lots of people i know ,good people ,good tradesmen have been out of work a hell of a lot longer and there are people in their late teens/early twenties who have never had a job.But 6 months out after 43 years in different jobs means i got of lightly in perspective but i appreciate the sentiment ..cheers

I'll shove my name forward. I don't post alot, but I read the forums every night. I am tolerant of Cardiff fans coming onto the Jack boards as they have every right to, but obviousley within reason.
