Winteringham Fields used to be great, but I went a few months ago and it was terrible.

I'd agree about Tickton Grange though, the whole drinks in the drawing room and dishes served on a slate thing is very nice if you fancy something a bit different. It's not stupid money for something a bit special either.

Prezzo in St. Stephens is pretty good, although Marakesh down Princess Ave tops it (only if it's your type of thing - Moroccan)

And this one isn't a restaurant but it's still definitely worth a mention - small Italian takeaway on Princess Ave, proper Italian pizzas, not your usual ****e. Da Gianni.

Oh, and La Perla - Newland Ave.

Although in comparison with the likes of Winteringham Fields, I'm probably going to look like a cheapskate who likes **** food <laugh>

Cross keys in Nafferton is worth a visit. A great mix of food, Greek & traditional. Great value & a good night in the side bar

Really, i went last October, i think it was and the food was excellent, wonder what has changed to make such a big difference? Shame really !!!!

There are a lot of good restaurants around the Hull area, most of which are normally recommended by word of mouth !!!!
