Not seen enough of him in real life. 7 goals basically from the bench isn't bad at all, only 23 and would be cheap. I say go for it. He's class on Football Manager too
Reality check I think ......... Reading have just got promoted but are not offering him a new contract ... in terms of young goalscoring prospects with 'potential' we have Vardy, Waggy, Schlupp and Panayiatou .... and we've just picked up Blyth from non-league ... now Heskey to bring experience in alongside - not to mention a touch of class ... yes.
I think Schlupp will go out on loan. Blyth has joined the "development squad" so i cant see him being near the first team yet, Beckford will leave And thats gives us Nugent, Vardy and Waghorn as things stand. If Heskey does sign he is a totally different option to the rest. I think it all depends on how many subs you can have. If they put it back up to 7 then you can afford to carry an extra striker in your squad
He's not that good . which is why Reading went out and bought Le Fondre ...... really can't see this one happening ... will eat large slice of humble pie if it dors ...
On that note we need to sign two Argentinians called Mathais Cahais and Jonathan Cristaldo - are key players of my Leicester squad. There was a manager said that he signed a player just because his stats were good on Football Manager - cant remember who it was.
The old Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton once admitted he signed a player after a fan recommended him on twitter
Mike Newell? - He is that daft to do that. I remember that he was one of the favourites to take the Leicester job when Martin Allen was sacked - glad he wasn't considering all of the crap the since did.
