He's a very good midfielder at that level and id prefer him to some premier league centre midfielders like whitehead and delap. Very good deal for Boro and him

Good move for lad, and club.

One of my most memorable moments his celebration at his dads spot v Arsenal, the lad scored some crackers for us.

All the best Grant, hopefully see you in the big league in a year!

All the best Grant. A decent player and a canny lad. Not top drawer but great attitude and aptitude. Deserves a good run in the Boro side and might even have me rooting for them next season now.

TBH, I wouldn't mind any of our young players going down there (like Ryan Noble for instance) as although I think Mowbray is a whining twat, he is also a good man manager and decent coach. He would benefit hugely in their set up imo.

Right Look North and Tyne Tees don't interview the fecker, let him do his talking on the pitch.

Aye MON'sMush, the look of sheer delight as he slid in on his knees was, well it said it all.

    Was a stunner as well!

We din't know what it was all about at the time, the details made it even more of a moment!

He never let us down Grant, more the standard around him gradually crept up.

Was sad to see him go but like you say but like you say the club was moving on.

Still, watching him interviewed is painful!

    Boro fan in peace.

I'm hearing very mixed reviews on Leadbitter. Good coming from the Sunderland supporters, bad coming from the Ipswich lads. Do you reckon it was just a case of him not being happy down south and that affecting his football?

Just watched his first interview on our site and f*** me it was awkward. Instant legend for saying how football is a way of life in the North East and playing down south just didn't compare though! :D

On a free, about to hit his prime and was once sold for 2.6 million pounds. That can't be a bad bit of business. Can you tell me what kind of player he's like exactly lads? It seems he's being brought in as Barry Robson's replacement. That's some very big shoes to fill....

He'll be a cracking signing mate, Ipswich is a club all over the place, he'll be settled, and he'll do a job for you <ok>
