I can't believe we're almost half way through the year already ffs.

In only 8 short weeks we'll be just about ready to start the next football season, and before we know it we'll all be starting to prepare for Christmas.

It's scary how fast time goes

I'm personally realising, at 20 years old, how other people sometimes take life for granted. I'm gonna spend a lot of time appreciating the time I have on this planet, because I'm not religious anymore, and I don't believe in an afterlife.

I'm not saying when we die that's it, but we really don't know what's gonna happen, so lets enjoy this life while we've got it.

I'm going savour every goal the Toon score, drink every drink like it's my last, listen to every song with passion as if it's going to be the last piece of art I'll ever hear.

I know I'm only 20, but I really can't believe I've been on this planet over two decades. The last 5 years have gone so fast I'm actually frightened.

    Howay the lads!!

Never gonna stop supporting the lads, despite the fact that it will most certainly take 10 years off my life. Newcastle United season tickets should be issued with a health warning.

A nice uplifting thread :) I also intend to do the same, I'm 23, got some good friends, moving out soon, and being moved up at work, but still feel I could be living life more than I am. Everyone should strive to make their time on earth as good as can be.

Just remember theres more to life than just football though Tash, me and you are both die hard fans from what I can tell, but dont let it be all consuming.

Agreed mate. Football is important to me, but not absolutely everything. Family comes first.

But, I do find it stressful and boring when there's no Newcastle United playing, and I'm having to resort to Alcohol, Dragon Ball Z and Masturbation to entertain me through the 3 months or so or boredom.

NUFC is definitely a massive part of my life.

I have some acquaintances that I like and sometimes hang out with, but I don't really think I've had a true friend, Since 14-15, I've been getting into some really weird **** that my friends just aren't into like Death Metal and other stuff.

Since I was 17, and left college, It's been hard to find new friends. I used to be able to get friends easy when I was younger, but I've grown up and developed my own interests, and my interests are unpopular.

I'm not anti-social, but making TRUE friends that could properly understand me and relate to me, that's going to be hard to do.

I remember feeling depressed this one time. I went to a gig, met this amazing girl, who was soooooooo like me, very intelligent (not saying I'm Einstein, but she could hold a good, intellectual conversation, and she was into all the stuff I'm into, and she was pretty and interested in me), I talked with her through the whole gig, missed a lot of the music, got her ****ing number, wrote on my hand, then accidentally washed it off when taking a shower when I got back home,.

    ****ing bummer dude.

Anyways, trying to live life while I have it ;)

Why would you want to find new friends when you've got all of us?
