    Don't know mate, interesting though.

Great thing i've heard about our ticket sales is that after 1 week, Bolton have sold 20,000 tickets for the trip to Wembley. Stoke sold the same number on the first day.

  7. Boys, bit the bullet this morning and queued for 2 hours (froze me tators off!). There was only a few hundred folks there and we had all been sorted by 9am, after that you could just walk in. Decent banter though and the two hours flew by. Potts, I got three seats in block 120 row 9 (£60 ers). When I asked they said that a batch had been transferred by DHL from Nottingham(?) over the weekend. Don't know the ins and outs but there seemed to be a good selection of tickets available at the Brit, meanwhile the internet booking is still showing very limited options, just £40 and £30 seats available up in the gods.

Sorry you missed the seats you really wanted Potts, but very relieved that I have got mine at last, the lad and missus are well made up too!

Noticed on the oatcake that folks were asking why bother going to the Brit, why not just book on line, believe me the truth is today better tickets are available at the ground. That may change in the next few days, who knows.

Looking forward now to blowing the ball into the Bolton net just from our singing alone!! KTF and UTP!!!!

    How is everyone getting there?
Think I'm gonna have to settle for the coach. Was gonna get the train, saw one for £25, but it only gets me there for 5 mins before kick off, and my seat is up in the nose bleeds, so it'll probably take more than 5 to get up there!! And I don't wanna be rushing about, want have time to get a beer in and that. All the earlier trains are £50-60, little bit out of my price range. . .

  9. Pistol as we have folks down in London, we are staying two nights in Watford and then getting the train in from there. Have done this before and is less hassle all round. Normally I go for the coach option to away games, you get there with time to spare and can have a decent kip on the way back.

Yeah I think it's gonna be the coach for me. Been to Man City and Wolves on the coach before, that was alright, don't really fancy it all the way to London, but I can't afford the train.
I noticed on the ticket prices, any train that gets you there AFTER kick off is only about a tenner. Likewise any trains from London to Stoke BEFORE the match are dirt cheap. But there and back at the times we want are rather expensive!!
Just need find a coach service that'll let me take ale on with me. . .

Me and the eldest are travelling down to King's Cross. We have a family railcard so it's costing just a little over £60 for the journey. With the match tickets and food it will cost about £200 for the day...!

    Oatcakes
I'm well happy with my seats mate, no problemo. Just wanted a couple behind the goals but, they were Row 5 too close too the action for me. An "Insider" told me too book at least Row 30is for a very good view although, it's known that everywhere is a good view really. Some, are just too far away I suppose. Beggar's can't be chooser's I guess.

I booked coach travel with my ticket mate. 25 quid leaves the Brit at 10.30am. Coach 34 I think <laugh> Have two nieces who are booked on coach no wait for this... EIGHTY FOUR! Jusus Christ it's an invasion the likes of never seen in the history of Stoke City F.C. HAVE a GREAT DAY out Lad's and Ladie's.

    Wembley here we come!

P.S. Oatcakes, I'm still taking me flask and half a dozen hot oatcakes( Bacon and Cheese) wrapped in tin foil. Try it. It works keeps em warm for about two hours. Always take them too home games, especially during the winter.

Well we are on coach 71 and were told to get there as early as possible because the minute everyone is there on that particular coach it leaves irrespective of time. I'm in block 106 row 32 so hoping for a good view. My lad only got his ticket yesterday with his westham stub and got what looked like a cracking seat. It was a £60 seat near to the tunnel in the red section just over the halfway line. I also heard Bolton were sending back approx 4,000 unsold tickets so it may be a mass exodus of Stokie's April 17th. Apparently there are hundreds there now queuing for tickets for the 8am opening tomoz morning!

Read on the Oatcake that the pub The Green Man on Wembley Way will be a Stoke only pub for the day on the 17th. Good news if true:emoticon-0100-smile

Someone put this on Twitter earlier on, no idea whether it's true or not:

Bolton reportedly returning tickets, under pressure from the FA.

Also thought i'd post for anyone that might be interested, that Stoke fans will be on Soccer Am tomorrow. Not sure how many people still watch that, I have barely watched it over the past few years.

As far as I know we currently have two pubs that are allocated to us Stoke supporters, Green Man and also The Torch.
There are many more pubs in the surrounding area and it would be very helpful for everyone if either the FA, or both clubs told the supporters which pubs we have been allocated for the day.
