NUFC tell skysports no bids recieved for Demba Ba

Just been posted on twitter by sky sports mobile (official).
Also Demba Ba's brother has said something along the lines of Demba has not signed.

Urghghhh it's going to be a long summer

 

personally, I don't think Demba's the type of guy that wants to do an Anelka (so many clubs and never settled)

 

Don't want to sign pessimistic but the wording from his brother doesn't sound very promising, hopefully I'm just reading it wrong.

 

What will be will be. I hope the lad stays on but we are in a great position. If he goes we make a killing, if he stay we keep a very good player. If he does go, I hope its abroad.

I'm not sure it is completely. His best mate Sow is in Istabul and if he's said it's good there AND him and his agents get their pay day, Turkey could be a very real option. Most Interested PL clubs would be a sidestep, I think there could be some mileage in this one.

If he is going to go, get rid soon so we can replace him ASAP, we can't have him fannying about. The Ben Arfa rumour for me is a total non-starter.

What does he mean by that, saying that if he does leave hes not bigger than the club? Which of course he isn't, good comment if so. But I don't want him to go

I think he's just bigging up the club that's all.

 

He said that ages ago though. Nice sentiment, and to be honest he comes across as a good lad, but his contract situation is tenuous and I can see him leaving.
