A light wallet makes a heavy heart, as we like to say in Scotland :emoticon-0105-wink:

I don't see the point in buying papers to be honest. You can get all the news on the internet. Plus I'm not really interested in which celebrity is bonking some other z-list celebrity.

Anyway, next up for Murray is the winner of Ivo Karlovic v Dudi Sela match. Karlovic is 6' 10" <yikes> and has an equally big serve (fastest recorded at 156mph!). Let's hope for Murray's sake he's not on his game, serve-wise. Don't know anything about Sela.

I've been retired for over 8 years and by 5.15am......I'm counting the dots on the ceiling waiting for 6am to come round.......never been a bed dweller, always started work at 7.30/8am all my life.........sad really but never mind.

Karlovic was pretty much a one trick pony but he was still tricky to beat especially during the tie-breaks, Murray did overcome him in the end though so that's two tricky oponants out of the way. Next up Marcos Baghdatis, I don't see our Andy having much trouble with this guy but he will have to serve well - something he doesn't always maintain.

Been watching the women at Wimbledon today........so boring......Serena Williams taking for ever to serve.........Financial equality what a joke.....when they can play five sets and keep us interested then we should consider equality.......at present they are getting money under false pretences.

As much as I want Andy Murray to win this match I can't help but like Baggy, he's always smiling like he's loving every minute out there and enjoying the task in hand.

Took a while for the Murray v Bagdhatis game to get going. Very cagey start and the weather conditions didn't help. I did think when Murray lost that second set it was going to be one of those nights but he showed his resilience. Game definitely improved after the roof was closed.

Couldn't believe all the nonsense over the 11pm curfew. What a country we live in!

According to Irvine Welsh, the US commentators said it was because the tube stopped shortly 11 after and people needed to get home!

A shame there had to be a loser in this match, thoroughly enjoyed it.

How the hell can you have tennis shorts that cannot hold a tennis ball......Andy is looking like a bit of a drama queen lately.

But good entertainment and a good win in the end........and VALUE for money.....compared with the over-rated and over-paid womens game of only three sets maximum.

Murray v Cilic today on Court One, after Screamer versus the wonderful Lisicki. Depending on the weather, of course, which frankly doesn't look too good.

Totally expect Murray to go out soon.

The match v Bagdatis (sp) was more the Cypriot losing it than Murray winning it.

Unfortunately, Murray relies on this method all too often and the better players won't have so many unforced errors against him.

I think he's went backwards with Lendl.

Bloody stupid putting Murray's match on #1 court knowing the rain was always on it's way, now we all have to wait until tomorrow when it could've started on centre court or have been switched there later this evening to ensure it would finish - their excuse? "Wimbledon is not an evening event".

I feel it's long overdue for #1 court to be covered. Centre court and #1 court are the 2 show courts and where the most important (and therefore televised) matches take place. The cover on centre court has proven it's worth time and again.

BTW delighted that rent-a-gob has gone <applause>

The organisers have completely screwed him over in their attempt to prove that they're not favouring him. Ferrer v Del Potro will be finished before them. Let alone the poor sods who will have to play Federer and Djokovic.

Dammit! Logged into to watch the game at work and it was rained off. Checked the weather for London and it was raining cats & dogs. Worked for a wee while then headed home only to find out that Murray had won in three sets.

Must have been bloody fast one and a bit sets.
