my worst experience away was away at Wigan in the 2007/2008 where we are down near the bottom , we lost 1-0 and we had Wigan fans taunting us , great My greatest away experience was at Blackburn in the 2006/2007 , Campo Header sent us delighted but what made it even better , was that Jussi saved two penaltes in the last 5 minutes to hang on to the win
Arsenal earlier this season, they didn't serve beer to the away fans, bastards. I got in 90 minutes early specifically to down a few pints
I was just getting to the vinegar strokes when the wife burst in with a pair of garden shears. I've never played away from home since.
Bradford away, 2005, in League One. A 2-0 win at Valley Parade with 5,500 Hull fans there. Good times. Arsenal away, 2008, Geovanni and Cousin giving us a 2-1 win. Blackburn away, 2008, first away game in the top flight. Sheff United away this season, Jimmy Bullard last minute winner as we won 3-2. Best away experience was definitely beating those ****s from across the Humber, S****horpe 5-1 in February. That'll ****ing learn 'em.
My only away experience was against Portsmouth in 2008. We lost, didn't score, but it was my first live game. That's the point where I really started to watch football, in the worst ground in the Premiership, in the worst seats (right behind the goal and a pillar) and with a virtually silent Sunderland crowd for much of the second half, I still had the time of my life!
One of my worst away experiences was in 2004, at Huddersfield. It was only around my 5th or 6th away game (I was 14) and we got dicked 4-0, missing a penalty in the process. Still went up that year though!
