I am fancying a bit of Cambridge away too. Train into London, few beers in town and then train to Cambridge.
first game- wycombe away to york. best guess. wycombe to finish with 77 points, another guess. better than 44 points fot they gas
wycombe 2 farnborough 1 with stuart beavon scoring both...meanwhile, scott donnally is on trial at rotherham
Yes. It was intended to be a means of providing some compensation for the loss of revenue from our youth academy.

Just got back from the Wycombe v Fulham match, here's the good and bad: Good: Strong performance from Stewart, looked comfortable against tough opposition. Spring looks decent and a good cameo at the end from Angol. Joel Grant also looked good and reassuringly we didn't get particularly embarassed. Bad: Oli looked overweight and Logan really didn't really do too much. We also switched off at the end, but that was probably because Waddock tinkered with the back line.
agree with almost everything you put angol : He looked fantastic going forward, but he left dunne very exposed which caused pressure down that side. oli : was annoymous on the wing, and only came into it a bit when he played behind the striker. doherty: good solid performance again from the doc, not a lot he (or the whole defence) could do about the goals spring: looked decent, popped up everywhere wood : good performance, covered the defence well and looks like a quality signing logan : looks like the type of striker who will require decent service to actually do anything. not convinced, but reserving judgement in terms of the "old guard" thought bull was good but basey seemed to slow to start. otherwise, a decent performance all round
