    The Referee Theory Test, put football fans from across the UK to the test, challenging their knowledge of the beautiful game.

    Yeovil Town fans topped the final league table, answering correctly 28.43% of the time, meaning that the right decision was made more than once in every four questions answered.

    Accrington Stanley, Stevenage Borough, AFC Wimbledon and West Ham United made up the rest of the top five positions, with Manchester United in 12th and Chelsea in 17th.

    Manchester City, Reading and Swansea City made up the relegation zone, finishing 18th, 19th and 20th respectively.

    Among the questions to pose the biggest challenge for Yeovil Town fans were those around penalty shootout rules, the offside rule and incidents that take place away from the ball.

    Test the nation's football fans on their knowledge of the rules before they accuse the referee of being the 12th person on the opposition's team, or question the officials' eyesight."

    6 correct and I passed the ref's exam when I took my coaching course!!! Mind you, that was a few years ago so I reckon the ones I got wrong must have been rule changes since then. :biggrin:

    Well I got 6 and was gutted until I saw your scores. Now I think I did pretty well. I thought I had at least 10 right but it shows how little I know.

    I felt so humiliated at my woeful score,so decided to retake the test.
