With four days left in the transfer window we have interest in four players . Hernandez , Emnes , Adomah & now Ashley Westwood , captain & player of the season for Crewe Alexander last season . Plays defense or midfield . Not sure if we'll get any of these guys but what a transfer time we've had leading to the end of the week . A nice mix of players walking straight into the team & a few for the future

Dr.Huw Jenkins has stated that there is "no truth in the rumours that the Club had agreed a fee with Crewe for midfielder Ashley Westwood".(BBC Sport,Wales)

Adomah and Emnes are,I feel, merely the subject of newspaper speculation/lazy journalism.

    Hernandez' future is still unclear.

    You could be right there,cracker.

    What about this one then?

Christian Benteke,Genk. Belgian International-just. Striker, good goalscoring record, almost six and a half feet tall. Villa have bid £5.5m,which has been rejected. Do you think Dr. Jenkins has another £6m tucked under his mattress?

As window closes for us to acquire, so it closes for our surplus (my apologies - I need a better word) to depart. It's becoming clear that the likes of Monk, Tate, Gower, Orland, Bessone and possibly Moore are in that category. It's been very quiet on that front. It will be interesting to see who we include on our 25 man squad. I hope that the players that are displaced by new arrivals find a good place to land. When does the loan window close.

Tate is not going anywhere he's just bought a house near to where my sister lives, no way would he spend £350k if he was going

Window closes Friday at 11.00pm GMT, YJ.

To get more money for their players from clubs desperate to buy. Also, many need replacements in first, so they have to hang on to the players they have. It's a difficult shuffling players between 100s of clubs and keeping everyone happy.

I'd be very surprised if Moore went anywhere. He's featured regularly in Laudrup's plans so far. Likewise Beaker.

Monk, Orlandi and Bessone definitely seem to have one foot out of the door so far though. Probably Gower too given the depth we've added to midfield.

It would be a shame to see Orlandi go. He clearly has it, but I don't think he's been given enough consecutive game time to show it.

It seems bessone will definitely be going this season because ben davies is in front of him. As for orlandi and monk, I'll be really sad if either go but it is for the best. Hopefully orlandi will go out on loan and come back a stronger player... Or am I just hoping too much? <laugh>

We can hope. As I said, I think he could be a great player.

    I'd guess;
    Bessone - Sold
    Monk - Loaned
    Gower - Sold or Loaned
    Orlandi - Sold
    Lita - Sold

If 1 of Gower or Orlandi stay I would suggest Jazz be loaned out, also Donnelly and Lucas will probably go on loan at some point this season.

I'd like to see Situ and Obeng go out on a loan also.

Only 3 days left and no movement yet, so looks like it could be a very busy last few hours.

Surely he can afford a bigger house than that?

Probably but it's a nice little estate with 8 houses on, they are going for about £350k apiece. So about 5 or 6 months wages for him ;)
