Congratulations Joe Allen

Baby Alfie Allen was born today. I know Joe did want him to be born in Wales, but as long as he knows his roots when he starts playing, I don't suppose it matters much in the great scheme of things

 

My congrats to him as well

 

His baby is a Liverpudlian congrats joe nonetheless!

Sorry, but Allen will always be a Jack bastard as far as I'm concerned and I posted this thread on that basis, as I felt it worth congratulating a club legend on the birth of his first.
I didn't realise things were so sensitive that it wasn't allowed

 

Not one person has asked for this to be closed and I don't see any reason why it should be too.

Can't for the life of me understand how Joe allowed his baby to be born in England, he qualifies for them now !!

When my misses was heavily pregnant she was banned from leaving Swansea let alone Wales, just in case.

There are a very sensitive bunch of fans on here! I think aswan's comment was meant tongue in cheek though. But this lot are so sensitive it's difficult to know what's allowed and what's not. Say a playing is leaving and you get abused. But then almost everyone wants Sinclair to leave, so we're allowed to say that. Very strange set of fans on here.

To be fair I did get the impression that aswan's comments were probably tongue in cheek and were probably directed at the sensitive ones if anything.
I just saw his comment as an opportunity to justifying the thread before there were any complaints

 

Nobody has to justify a thread about Joe Allen. The lad is a Jack through and through and always will be. So, congratulations to Joe and his partner, and young Alfie.

 

I had to justify my Allen thread. As I remember it, many people were quite upset.

 

Interesting. Its ok to put something that is not football related about Joe (a Liverpool player) but its not when he has done well (football related) for liverpool..

congratulations Joe and wife on your new addition.. I still think ex players are worth a mention and ex managers at any time...

LOL. I have a better idea. Merge all the Joe Allen threads, as it's hard work having to read through them all. Also, is it official that Joe Allen is a dad? I mean is it on the SCFC website? If not, it's all just speculation. LOL.
