Briefly.... my opinion for what it's worth

Midfield better - more solid - more creative - more positive passing and possession than previously
Chops worked hard - service was better but not great (too many high balls) wish we would start 4-4-2. Good finish though looked miles offside from Martins involuntary header.
Taylor - looks very good - will get better - faded a little second half but like him already.
Loach - kept us in it without doubt but still seems hesitant about leaving his line. Could have done better with the first goal ?? Doesn't seem to get on with Tommy Smith
Ainsley - did pretty bloody well actually, though will never make a winger (can't cross a ball)
Two centre backs - don't communicate - very unsteady and Tommy Smith cannot judge a high ball for love nor money. Defence - or at least the centre of it, truly bloody awful
Stupid bloody challenge to give penalty away. Really, really stupid.
Drury was good first half but looked absolutely knackered halfway through the second. Surprised he was not taken off for Hyam.
    Everyone else - pretty good
Shouldn't be pleased with a draw at home to Huddersfield but really could have gone either way so guess a point is ok in the circumstances. However, good defence and we really could have won that at a canter.
Actually a very entertaining game - not always for the right reasons but it certainly wasn't boring.

    Other
At least the drummers didn't play continuously.
No beer poured our ready for half time. Service in SBR getting worse.
Two buy on the day ticket holders sitting near me got on my tit.

made my comments on another thread
a few differences of opinions. I thought ainsley put in some very dangerous crosses but maybe wasnt consistant with them. was a lot better then I expected.
I think you are harsh on the centre backs but agree that a few balls over the top did make me very worried. I wouldnt call them awful but think that we need a commanding centre half as they are both out muscled too easily.
think there were too many bodies in front of loach for the first goal for him to do much about- we didnt clear our lines quick enough.

Have put my views on another thread, for what its worth I also think that Ainsley put in one of the best crosses we will see all season early 2nd half.!

Midfield did not close the ball enough when we did not have pssession, reason for their 2nd.!
