    Why???????????
Gazzaniga should be playing without fail in this game. He is a better keeper than Davis already and will only get better and better. Ridiculous from Adkins. He's done nothing wrong. He's been dropped after the Fulham game where Hoovield put an own goal and deflected shot past him. Piss take. Even worse is that he rushed Boruc into the side when he wasn't ready. Gazzaniga should have played the last two league games with Boruc playing tonight. Then when Boruc had game time he should have become first choice. Adkins has no clue what he is doing with the goalkeepers. Terrible mismanagement of them

I don't care if Davis has a decent game tonight either. He's 36 and not getting any better. Gazzaniga's 20. It's a no brainer to play Gazzaniga

Fun fact: We've won 2 cup games and 1 league game this season. We also picked up a point against Fulham. Gazzaniga played in all 4. He's only lost once against Everton.

We've played 6 league games and one cup game with Davis/Boruc and lost them all..

Gazzaniga has done nothing so far to suggest he's better and Adkins sees them in training every day, how can you possibly think you know better?

Yeah I wanted Davis to start this game. I'd like to see him challenge for his first place back. He only had a couple of bad games.

Whoever Nigel wants to play, is who I want to play.

Gazzaniga was unfortunate to lose his place to Boruc but I cannot see how you can yet say he is better than Davus who I want to be kept involved & match fit.

I was joking...hence happy, then clappy. Although in this case I do trust Nigel's judgement.

And Nigel was a goalie. So he knows all about then strange green/pink/orange shirted types.

I didn't think Kelv did too badly in his first games or that Gazza was any worse. But, hey ho, in Nigel we trust.

Fair point. You could probably say he's played in the easier games though.

Yeah, 4 of the Davis/Boruc games were against last year's top 4 so that's hardly a surprise.

Yes but I feel there's something about him being in between the sticks that rubs off on the side. We look more confident, composed and more up for it from the start.

I think it might be fair to say that, while he's not our best keeper in terms of overall ability, he's in the best form. That might be a good case to start him against West Brom.

Oh ok. So let's just forfeit in future against the top sides shall we? Davis has looked at sixes and sevens at times, he never looks confident and the defence has always looked shakier with him playing from minute one. Boruc still doesn't look fully fit to me. I'm confident had Gazzaniga (or Boruc, but he was unavailable) been playing against City and United we would not have crumbled.

Well Davis was shocking, I would have played Gazza any day.

Davis blew it tonight. It was back to the knee tremblers for the fans every time he got it. One great save, two or three balls across his area with him floundering and absolutely appalling distribution.

I still think Boruc for Monday unless he's sacked or suspended by the club.

Boruc for me also and I think the chances of a sacking/suspension are remote.
