The Brugge away game - Anyone going?

Anyone heading down? With or without a ticket?

I was, until recently, without a ticket and I didn't think it was that much of a deal. I thought we'd have a big screen available, or a load of pubs with a radio or TV or something!

But I got tickets, and I'm sooooo looking forward to it!!!

However, despite extra tickets being released, there'll still be thousands of Toon fans in Belgium, and there's strong suggestion from Belgium police that any Toon fan without a ticket will be arrested.

I've seen a few people at my work trying to flog their Brugge travel.

What are your guys situations?

I'll be heading out on Wednesday with my lass (again without tickets) was thinking of trying to charm some Belgian local and nick a seat in the home section. Had second thoughts though and will probably just end up somewhere in Market Square in a pub that'll be showing it. With me going out a day early I'll have a bit more time to walk around to try and find an "away friendly" pub.

Anybody have any information on any place that will be welcoming to the travelling toon army?

 

We're setting off on wednesday as well, i've given up on getting tickets through.

 

Yeah, me, my lass, and a few mates are going on Eurostar on thurs morning.

I managed to get a ticket in the away end which should be well fun, but the others in our party have had to rely on wangling ITV corporate seats (neutral bit) - but better than nothing.

Should be great atmosphere everywhere in the city anyway - whether you have tickets or npot. Just don't do anything stupid and I doubt they'll arrest you!

 

Getting the Eurostar on thursday about half six. Booked the hostel back in september so hopefully they don't just flog all their rooms to the first people who turn up in town.

Haven't got any match tickets but making the most of the time there and having a trip to Brussels as well.

Going to go to the Stadium tomorrow morning in the vain attempt to bribe locals to get me a ticket. At the very worst I'll at least get to see the ground I guess.

I hear theres literally thousands going over. We have filled our allocation, we are in the neutral sections and loads are going to watch in the fan parks in the market square. Should be a great atmosphere, hopefully all those going (players and fans) do us proud!

 

Could not have put it better, enjoy, stay safe and represent.
