    Still don't see why it wouldn't be true though, as for the bored with the Pardew bashing bit, that will continue from me until he changes our approach to games.

    Mitre might be bad, but wait till you try the horrible Kelme balls that I used for my junior college division competitions about 6 years ago!! I'd be happy if I could get a cross to reach my striker's neck/chest region. And I haven't even mentioned heading the ball...

    If Pardew doesn't want to play long ball then surely the fact that the team continue to play it shows that he doesn't have a particularly good relationship with his players. Either way it's not a good sign for him.

    Looks from the outside he has a great relationship with his players. As I say the long ball is just symptematic of our poor form. Cure that and it'll probably cure the style.
