Anyone else got Assasins Creed 3 and finding it a bit tedious?

 

PS3 is £25 more than the cheapest xbox now and the 500gb one is about the same as the 250gb. PSN is free so no extra cost which is ok. More people on live mind as kids tend to buy the cheaper option. Its why the Wii sold ****loads early on until the xbox and ps3 came down in price.

Playstation plus however which is about £40 a year is the greatest thing ever. I grabbed it to check it out and found I get loads of free playstation 3 games. Some decent stuff aswell considering its free ( well technically you pay £40 but its £130 worth of games ). Infamous 2, Bulletstorm, Motorstorm apocalypse, Borderlands and some others I cant remembers. All the games are rated 8 or better on average accross the major game rating platforms like IGN etc.

I have both consoles, both are good but I like to watch films and use my ps3 to stream the football aswell so imo its better than the xbox. The xbox has Halo and gears of war ............... both are great...........PS3 has uncharted, Killzone and Resistance and again all are great.

Best idea....... for around £300 or the price of the already failed Wii U ( its nintendo and has a stupid pad ) you can get both.

 

Is it true that the PS3 Fifa 13 lacks some of the features of the Xbox one??? My brother has a PS3, I have an Xbox, and when he played me on it the other weekend he was saying the manager, cop, ball boy graphics aren't on the Fifa 13 he has! He also says it crashes a lot more often... But I don't know, mine crashes every few matches when I press pause during the game to make a sub... SOOOOOOOOOOO ANNOYING!!!! And the autosave feature is pretty **** to make it worse. To begin with I'd play a career without saving, get to about the 7th match and it would freeze when I pressed pause (and invariably 3-0 up), thus meaning I tried to load the saved game only to be right at the beginning... Stupid game!

I'm growing to like the gameplay more though, especially the way teams tend to play like they do in real life. It's still frustrating when I'm winning by 2 clear goals and bossing the match, then suddenly the ball essentially sticks to their players as they wade through challenge after challenge, before a weak-ass shot bobbles off the goalie and the many surrounding defenders, only to perfectly find the striker with an open goal. I lost 3 goals like this against Liverpool last season. I was annoyed so reloaded the game and played again. The EXACT same thing happened. I take it Fifa's coding means CPU matches are scripted to provide certain results...

 

Havent finished the first one yet. Time poor me.

 

thought I better add myself on this, I'm on PS3 and user name is mancgeordie1892. Im only on FIFA atm so if anybody fancies getting their backside handed to them....

Lads any of you play Skrim?

Bit stuck on one of the quests.

Its the main quest - quite early on, and i'm approaching an entrance within a cave. The direction arrow is behind the entrance which is a large head.

There are pressure pads on the floor - about 6 of them. Two of them make a difference noise when you step on them.

What are you supposed to do? Jump onto the different stones, in different order? Trouble is there is a woman with me and she keeps stepping on them!!!

Any ideas chaps please?!

Halo 4 is awesome, but it needs some skill based playlists.

As a social game for fun it's amazing, but there's no ranked playlists. It's just crappy EXP system, which means your rank goes up regardless of how **** you do.

 

Yes, its ****ing addictive...

 

How do you finish skyrim?, there is never a end of level boss whatever, and final fantasy x111-2 was so complicated and not as good as the previous.

Anyone getting Eldar Scrolls online?

I wanna get into an online RPG or MMORPG or w/e. I've only played WoW, and I didn't really like it that much.

It comes out soon, basically like SKYRIM but online, but it's set in the past. It'll be cool because you get to explore a huge map, and the further out you go, and the deeper you explore, the scarier and stronger the monsters get.

 

Yep, I made Ba a contract offer almost immediately after taking the job. Ba and Cisse have poacher roles up front, Jonas is way overrated and his value is about 12M euros which to me is bullshite.

This version is a lot tougher than previous versions as the manager ( I was semi-pro footballer ) isn't getting much respect from the veterans. I'm trying my best by Newcastle are only 12th in the table at midseason lol.

 

I managed to get Newcastle up to 8th, signed M'vila, although the injury crisis seemed to mimic real life :/

I've been pwning everyone. Perfect mix of pace, skill and passing. I'm trying to play without Cabaye and Ben Arfa, as I like to play without players who are injured in real life.

It's awesome. Anita is deadly in an advanced role. Makes great runs.

I boosted Bigi's stats a little because he's only a 60 which is gay. He's a 67 after my edits.
