    I was in the Butcher's shop the other day ordering a fresh chicken... I asked for a female chicken - the Butcher asked why, I said "...because I don't eat cock!" :smile:

    Jellied eels are the big thing at the London dog tracks, they sell loads of them. Bought some once but couldn't bring myself to eat them.

    Albert - hard to describe. Wasn't fishy at all, it was a fine lean meat and very enjoyable.

    Then again, it was perhaps cooked properly and not boiled or stewed. Most meats don't do well being boiled, I find.

    Played darts around here a few years ago, and the the home team provided some 'fish' type sarnies for the snack break. They were jellied eel sarnies.
    I can honestly say, when I sneezed and accidentally swallowed some of my own snot, it tasted better than those sarnies <yikes>

    Tried swordfish and squid, had an alligator burger in Florida a few years back too.

    I had kangaroo when i was in sydney! quite nice, a bit like chicken!
