Last summer an FA cup victory, followed by the ultimate prize in the Champions League, then a flying start in the PL this season, only to be unceremoniously dumped! Robbie is still living in Warwickshire with his family and seemingly unemployed! HOW COME???

Because he managed us and, as you well know, winning trophies doesn't guarantee you your job. It's a travesty IMO.

I have nothing but praise for RDM and think he did brilliantly so I can't even begin to answer the original post as I have no idea.

Perhaps other teams supporters will be able to enlighten us, perhaps we should be asking them would you want him as a manager, if not why not. As I don't think many Chelsea supporters will be able to answer this.

because he's got some kind of clause in his sacking contract about not talking to the press or taking another job for a certain period of time?

    that would be my guess

I would expect his next job to be in Italy. Under AVB he had pretty much said at the end of the season he would be heading back to italy then AVB got dumped and things changed. I have a feeling he'll head back now.

Thats sound's about right , but I cant quite see how he didn't have a large queue forming outside his door fighting for his services!

Maybe he did get offers but wants to get himself and family settled back in Italy first...although I guess he'd want to settle close to work....not sure. I'd wager Italy next summer though.

RDM almost certainly has a contractual restraint until seasons end which stops him from managing till next season. Roma is my guess.

  12. Also, I don't think you can write off what AVB put in place. Okay, so he wasn't given the chance to taste the fruits of his labour, but there can be no doubting that he would have put structures and training schedule, etc, in place, that RDM would have copied and/or persisted with during his regime. Let's not forget that AVB was only forced out of the club because the likes of Lampard, Terry, and Drogba held a dressing-room revolt against him.

I believe that it was the double-whammy of getting rid of both AVB and RDM so quickly in succession that has undone your club.

AVB wasn't usurped by Lampard, Drogba, Terry et-al, AVB failed because he was nothing other than a tea boy who took his brief from Roman and quite frankly ****ed it up.As for being undone we are above you even with the fat Spanish twat on board. In the summer we will have another manager, you will have a tea-boy.

Funny thing is, HIAG thought exactly what you said when he was in charge of us, but now he's sporting Spud colours he's suddenly a genius.

HIAG, you are a cretin <ok>

AVB came in on the unfair dismissal of Carlo, who in his short time with us delivered a PL trophy, the FA cup and Community Shield! AVB came and went without producing anything but turmoil! We then get Robbie who delivers the greatest trophy of all and is booted out to make way for the FSW , who will duplicate the failures of AVB! How did our board get so rich by being so daft?

I do believe though that it is more to do with what happened to the predecessors that has become both AVB and Rafas downfall, both Ancelotti and Di Matteo were replaced for no reason by inferior Iberians

  18. That is perfectly correct, Ozzie. For now, Coco's Chelsea is above us. But it is plain to see that Coco's clown-tactics are slowly dragging your club under.

The "tea-boy" may yet undo him. Now, wouldn't that be embarrassing! It's almost too unbearable to contemplate, isn't it?

  19. I choose not to remember what I said about AVB when he was at CFC, because that would not help my arguments, this season.

Is it my fault that you have a clown for a manager?

    No.

Is it my fault that you have a madman for an owner?

    No.

Is it my fault that AVB is demonstrating with us (lowly Spurs, that has a fraction of your wealth, and that pays a fraction in wages what CFC pays to its galaxy of stars) why he is considered one of the best managers of his generation?

    Certain, not.

You may turn your anger on me, Drogs, if it, somehow, helps to ease the pain; but even you must know that I am not your enemy.

Quite frankly Herbert you are a hated cretin who demonstrates regularly to have no football nous whatsoever. Its also patently clear you do not take heed of the fact that your opinions on Chelsea related matters are not wanted and should be treated as spam as it is unsolicited.

    Run along nonce.<ok>
