I think Anita could do well out wide, he does have the pace. What puts Jonas above him, apart from the fact he's spent his entire career on the wing, is that Jonas has height and chest control. I've forgotten how erotic it is watching Jonas bring a ball, pelted a million miles an hour at him, down it a gentle caress of his man pecks.

Still think Jonas is a useful squad player if nothing else, and he'll be regarded as a good servant of the club whatever happens.

I agree, it's endearing seeing a footballer give everything when there's so many tossers lounging round "directing" the others. As a fan, you'd walk on the pitch and give everything for the cause if they asked, and having a footballer replicate that (but on a much better and fitter scale <laugh>) is relatable.

Never been a fan of his technical game, but it's not possible to hate him. Especially as my favourite Disney film as a kid was Mulan, and he strongly resembles the protagonist. If Jonas reveals himself to be a woman, that'd be the greatest day ever <ok>

Yuk, not for me it wouldn't.

I'd rather see DT reveal herself.

I've been calling for Jonas to be dropped, however he did play very well last game as did Perch and I think the old rule of not changing a winning team should stand.

When he came he seemed to have the X-Factor (that first game against Man Utd I thought we had a cracker on our hands).

When we went down he was a star performer in the Championship.

When we came back up he kept putting in grafting performances whilst others took the limelight, never complaining (to my knowledge), always smiling and working away.

He plays wherever he's asked to play, never stops smiling, always gives his all, can be class on occassion and even when he's having a shocker and losing the ball every 20 seconds one of the reasons you notice it is because he doesn't just hide like some players. He goes and gets the ball again, only to then lose it all over again...

I just can't criticise a player who is doing his best and I've never doubted his intent or attitude. I'm unconvinced I'd play Marv ahead of him tbh.

I unconvinced Marveaux is a winger. He has looked much better since being utilised infield ahead of two sitters. I think he gets a bit lost out wide. That said in a better side which we are at present, he may do better out there. Its going to be difficult infield for him anyway with Cabaye regaining fitness and the monster arriving.

I think there are games ahead for both players. It really depends on the opposition for me and what their strengths are in the wide areas. I could see Bale giving Marveaux a really hard time, whereas Jonas would probably relish it.

It's simple. The journos misread what Pards said. He basically 'did a Kinnear' and got the players names mixed up. He said "Fab Gutierrez" and "Jonas Coloccini". That's all. <whistle>

If Jonas would cut out his creative passing (of which innovation 100/100, execution 2/100), and be a threat in the box like he did against Chelsea( even beating John Terry for the header), he could be a useful squad player for us.
