Please, please, please Pardew, don' play ****ing Obertan. He is so **** its painful to watch him stumble around for 90 mins.

 

He is **** and we all hate watching him embarrass himself in a Newcastle shirt.

If we start with him tonight we may as well have started with ten men. He really is ****ing useless

 

I'm really getting sick of personal attacks on players.

Obertan has been good in his recent games and has been one of our only routes forwards in some of them.

He's come up with some assists and played a part in some goals. He scored our only goal vs Brugge at home if I remember correctly. He's not great at PL level, but has done a job for us in Europe, similar to Shola Ameobi.

Most of our forward players vs Anzi away were poor, yet Obertan gets bitch slapped by comments calling him ****.

I agree he is not PL standard, and he's not great, but he's not been any worse than any other player recently, and does not deserve to be dropped automatically.

 

Mate he is wretched imo. I cannot for the life of me understand why 3 million was wasted on him. Fergie really got the best of that deal. He is suppose to have this amazing pace but never uses it effectively. He can't cross, beat his man and his all round awfulness means his confidence is not just low but has ceased to exist long ago and he needs to be moved on for the club's sake as well as his.

I have a feeling in my water you lucky people going tonight are in for a special evening, hope you all enjoy it....

Feel inclined to agree with both Tash and BRS.

He's honest, hard working and has provided a useful outlet in Europe.

He is not good enough, having just enough skill to get into positions that he will then squander, and it would be kindest on all concerned for him to continue his career elsewhere.


I guess I come down on Tash's side in the end, in that I think he doesn't deserve to be insulted.
