Other than the obvious Pompey games are there any other fixtures you are looking forward to next season and why, I am looking foward to beating Blackpool when they play their first team. The other fixture I cant wait for is Forest, when I was young the great Forest team under Cloughie was in its prime, I always felt that was the way football should be played. I know they aren't the same now (neither are we) but still Forest has that draw. Anyone else got any particular reasons for being keen on any specific fixtures?
Forest. I live in Nottingham when I'm not at uni and I can probably get tickets to go and see the match if it's a weekend fixture (although it will be in the Forest end...).
I hope the Swans go up but if not I shall enjoy their visit and I shall definately go to the Liberty. I will of course shout abuse at Nathan Dyer. If Swans go up then I shall enjoy the Reading games home and away. I am not sure why people are looking forward to games against our very hard up neighbours as they are no longer our rivals. They are hoping for survival why we are aiming for the stars.
I'll be looking forward to seeing Poyet's face if we beat them again. Might cause him to actually implode in a cloud of bitterness and his own sense of superiority. I suppose the Blackpool home game will be quite good as well. Nothing comes close to how much i'm looking forward to having a good crack at Portsmouth though.
upton park for me, seems ages since i last vistited! (back in the prem days) allways a good day out that, and head off into the city for the nightlife. then, somehow try to get back to hampshire!, i have fell asleep at many a train stations whilst on away days!, as have some of you i'd imagine!
Blackpool is the main one for me. Can't wait for the banter. Another one for me has got to be Brighton. I will love to see poyets face when we beat them first game at their new stadium.
Saintsfcfan wrote "Blackpool is the main one for me". If you are staying over in Blackpool for the game then you must stay at the Novello Hotel it is right by the tower. Clean good, food, great value and you can walk to the stadium. This isn't advertising it is just sound advice. I shall be staying there and we could make it a Saints enclave for the weekend.
well I was looking forward to playing Wigan, as the wife is from there and both father-in-law and brother-in-law are sesason tickets.... they bleedin well spoiled that idea though yesterday.
Walsall .... Oh sugar no! Lol On a serious note ... The OBVIOUS , Leeds, West Ham, Holloways Tangerines and .... BIRMINGHAM!!!
If.... And I say a big IF Holloway is still in charge .. Boy he will get some grief at SMS next season after his comments!
He said today he is staying so unless he gets approached by another side in the Premier League, he will be at St Marys again this season. His team were sh*te and his comments were pathetic on that day.
