I forgot we even played football for a bit there! PDC's enthusiasm could be crucial and he's certainly got me more up beat than I have been. I'm hoping he can get the best out of Connor Wickham. If Paolo doesn't fancy him then I think we all have to accept it's a Brucie boob, however if he does well then it's a MON boob (I do think MON not giving Wickham his chance was his downfall).

As they say it's the hope that kills you, we'll I'm hoping and believing again! I'm also hoping that this appointment and our struggles gAlvanises the Sunderland faithful to unleash their full support and get the stadium rocking again!

What was the question agAin? Team for Saturday? **** knows!

He's been watching our matches, he won't like the way Bramble constantly switches off so I can see him being dropped. we might even get to see Mangane. MoN went with McLean when he came in and it gave us a new dimension. State of our defence, Mangane could be our answer to plugging the defence allowing the attacking players to be more expressive.

I don't think Di Canio will like our left-winger <somersault>

So long as they show a bit of passion i couldn't care if he wheels the tea ladies out for a game, they couldn't do much worse.

Well one thing is we probably wont see much of a change in personnel but the way we play will certainly be different, I expect every player to be out on their feet against Chelsea at the final whistle and they have to be carried off the pitch to a heroes applause from our fans for their effort regardless of the result.

I still have no friggin idea? Lol

Think he may be more cautious than many on here imagine. He cant afford to in all go gung ho and get a total caning, or the press will just go tonto on him.

Think we will play Graham or Wickham on their own but have a better attacking threat in support.

Then again, he may just think ah **** it and go hell for leather from minute one.

One thing is for certain, none of us here can second guess this bloke.

    Experience......

    Larsson r/w. Johnson l/w,

Sess again is the sticking point....he has to play but where?

    Wonder how a Sess/Gardner c/m would work.

Properbly compleatly wrong and shows i know nothing about football.... but these are my thought...

    What We Know About POC

    - Likes to play 4-4-2
    - Likes a fast team which presses oppositon Suggests that Gardner will be back in the CM
    - Fast Wingers who cross alot Means McClean could be back?? and AJ could even be dropped? after all he is the worst crosser in the PL...

    What We Need vs Chelsea

    - Put Pressure on a team with low confidence
    - Try to play for some points
    - Protection for the FBs

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    People We Know Will Play

Mig - Well even PDC isnt mental enough to drop him....
JOS - Captain and PDC has said he has been talking to him alot about the team....
Rose - Attacking FB and runs alot...
Gardner - Runs alot and cares about his team... will play either FB or CM but as he whould be marking mata i suggest he will be back in CM
Graham - Only experienced striker we have

    Players who could play

    CB

Titus - Been starting CB and possibly the best we have...
Killgallon if he makes enough impact during this week he is more mobile then titus....
Wes Brown Was training again... could he be back??

    RB

Bardo more defensive RB and a full time FB... only 1 out of 2 at the club currently

    WG

McClean - Fast Winger who can cross... also young and may respond too RDC well...
AJ - International winger who has palyed all season... but relitivly slow, worst crosser in the PL and didnt look happy in an interview today on SAFC TV...

Seb - International player with experienced head... but slow, cant cross and been crap all season.
Sess - Where does he play... Rm?

    CM

N'Diaye - Runs around abit and adds an attacking threat
Jack Colback- Can actually pass so that might impress PDC
    Sess - Might play Cm??
Vaughn - No idea why he would play but he might?

    ST

Wickham If we go two up top...

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    My Possible Team

    ---------------------------Mig-----------------------------
    Bards---------JOS (C)----------Titus-------------Rose
    Sess------------Gardner------N'Diaye------------McClean
    --------------Graham-------Wickham----------------

    * Bardo - more defencive FB and allows gardner in the Midfield
    * AJ Dropped - Sends a message to the team but i would let him know that with some fitness training he can get his job back...
    * Sess - RW is his best position imo and Chelsea have weak FBs....

I can see it being something like this:

    Migg
    BARDO JOS MANG ROSE
    LARSON GARDNER ALF JOHNSON
    SESS WICKHAM

I have got a feeling PDC is going to give Wickham a go up front and to be honest Graham has shown nothing since he arrived and Conner has never been given a proper chance so why not?? he can't do any worse than Graham.

This fitness thing may be interesting because Graham, Johnson, Bramble and Sess don't look properly fit to me.

Wonder if he just looks at those and thinks bench? Impact subs.

He may go for the lads who look up for the job.

Just wish he had Catts available as he would represent the passion on the field that PDC has off it imo.

CAtts has been a massive miss for us this season no doubt.
