I think we will end just out side the playoff positions which although not good amazing given where we were under Magoo Ward has done a great job also our midfield is pants without OToole they try hard against a good team Bradford they will probably come unstuck. Not a quality game today but they did not stop running wore AFC down at the end to be fair AFC deserved something from the game but you dont always get what you deserve.Brogs corners are leathal TounKara ran his heart out and Tom scored his first goal hopefully its the turning point for him,Brunt and Tounkara need more minutes on the pitch to work up an understanding Tounkara is really unselfesh.

What an amazing job John Ward's doing for your team...could well be playing the City next season, be good to have the derby's back, but hoped it would be in the Championship!!!

Thanks BJA <ok> For Bristol, it would be better in the championship than L1 - in both our new stadiums as well. For me though it will be a few years away.

Gastro <ok> My opinion, we wont go up, im sure of it. My feet are firmly on the ground. But IF we get into the play offs I will be amazed. We would be the most inform team as well and often the inform teams end up winning it.

I will be very cheesed off if we miss out on the play offs by 1, 2 or 3 points. Remember Wycombe <grr> If we had those 3 points now, we be just 2 points away from the play offs.

I think we'll miss out on the playoffs too. But, hey, the fact that we've even got a sniff of them is staggering.

    Hi guys I'm back!

Sorry I've been away for several months. I stated about 2 months ago up here in Cheltenham that we would beat Cheltenham Town in the Play Off final. I've felt since early January we'd repeat what Trolls and Lenny did several seasons ago when we last went up. I still believe that will happen.

No CJS I didn't put money on it. I want it to happen. Playing the Trashton Gate (Bristol's biggest landfill site) mob will be reward enough (with the 6 points that'll come our way).

    Tuesdays games...

    Bradford V Bristol Rovers
    Burton Albion V Wycombe
    Port Vale V Aldershot
    Rotherham V Exeter

If we beat Bradford we will be 9th. What would be the best outcome for us from the Rotherham/Exeter game?? If we win and Exeter lose - we be 2 points behind 7th - Exeter. If we win and Exeter draw - we be 3 points behind Exeter and 4 behind Rotherham.

That Wycombe postponement may have cost us a place in the play offs.

Think we will miss out though. But if we do it, then it would be interesting with the derbies. It will be tough but im sure City will make a lot of changes (possibly their manager too as I am beginning to think he may walk if offered a new job (going by some opinions from some reds). At the moment, I would take 6 points from them in my opinion, but lets get Ward to stay and see who signs for us and the reds and then we will see <ok>

But I think its a tough ask though to make it to the play offs and win it too. We have lost O'Toole and 3 of our last 4 games are away 2 of which is like us chasing play offs and the other is Torquay fighting for survival. Big ask. Also not sure if we will lose Mildenhall/Hitchcock for the play offs as their loans may run out and too late to extend them. That will make things harder.

Exciting times though to see what happens. If we dont make it, its been a great ride under Ward and long may that continue. Im looking forward to the summer with new signings. All of Wards signings have made a great impact 1 way or another. 100% success record with his signings.

Bradford and Exeter have particularly difficult run-ins. I think it's going to be really interesting. A few twists and turns yet.

    Rotherham V Exeter
    Rotherham V Fleetwood
    Bradford v Rotherham
    Exeter V Cheltenham
    Chesterfield v Exeter
    Bradford V The Gas
    Chesterfield v Bradford
    Bradford V Rotherham
    Bradford V Burton
    Cheltenham v Bradford
    Fleetwood v Chesterfield
    Southend v The Gas

Our midfield is lacking bite without OToole,as was shown yesterday. It really is mainly down to what the teams above us do as to whether we finish in the playoffs however you do get a few teams wobbling around this time,I said that we will finish just outside PO's as we only have 12pts max left to play for so we would have to win all 4 and still hope that results go in our favour.

I looked at the table yesterday and Its hard to think that if the big if we had not have played sooo badly vs York and nicked a goal we would have 60 pts,

Amazing then you could have dreamed of the playoffs

Still settle for the fact we have not been relegated this season by some decent margin

I think we will just make it. We gotta play Bradford and Southend, two teams going for the final place, plus Exeter looking **** at the moment. It's on if we want it enough IMO :D

take the 2 points dropped vs york and the 3 points lost at wycombe when they cheated <grr> we be 8th now level with 7th on points but goal difference putting us out of the play offs. all ifs and buts of course.

just to add a bit more to the ifs and buts..... we are now only 10 points off a automatic promotion spot! if we had beat york and wycombe <grr> then we be only 5 points off automatic places!
