There's now an article on their site:

    This better not be true.

However his agent does have a history of being a royal **** in order to get his way (ie more £££):

    http://www.footballtransfertavern.com/2010/06/premiership/meet-the-football-agent-1-willie-mckay
He also brought us Boumsong (pocketing £500k for his services...), Babayaro and Amdy Faye.

I like how it doesn't given any other information!!!!

I thought he had been offered a new contract which involved a pay cut which he was happy to take but wasn't happy with the length of it??

If it's true it'll be ****ing Llambias being a stubborn **** and trying to screw players for all he can get over contracts.

I actually hate him 10x more than Ashley I really do. Parasite.

I don't like the fact that there are direct quotes.

Surely Llambias is not that daft?

    On second thoughts...........

Load of bollocks. Fat Mike is a successful businessman no matter what we think.
He's hardly going to let a player just run down his contract so he can leave for free in a years time.
He will get rid of him in the summer if that's the case .

Yeah I'm hoping this is just a ploy by his agent to get a suitable contract. Although what does this mean for Nolan? Wasn't Barton saying that he'd sign once Nolan got a new contract?

    This better not be true!

The whole scenario sounds totally wrong to me. Not extending the contract of our player of the season but willing to let him leave on a free next year!?

If this isn't more media bullshit I will be amazed.

I really hope this is rubbish. As soon as Nolan signs a new deal I hope that Joey will follow suit. If he isn't getting a new deal then they'd sell him this summer (like the Enrique situation) which I can't see happening. He'd easily fetch 5/6m so he'd never be allowed to go for free next summer.

I'll be pissed off if this is true but I think it's rubbish.
