So, hopefully we can win against QPR whilst Villa and Wigan do the honorable thing and lose/draw to Chelsea and Arsenal respectively. PLEASE!!!

In our hands again and let's be fair If we screw up now then we deserve to go down.

Feel in cloud 9 at min however I did th night we beat boro with two games to go then to see us FCUK up against Fulham the following week.

Still have major question marks on the players desire along with Pardews inept attitude but this is a bloody lift tonight

totally agree. while great for us lets not get to relaxed. qpr are bottom and will be wanting to at least finish on a high and not bottom. we need to get behind the team and make cisse score a hat trick!

I can imagine this is how a 40 year old virgin would feel after his 1st time! Still by no means certain but I think a win vs QPR will do it, Although thats by no means certain, Jenas is bound to score

It was always in our hands as Southampton and the Mackems still have each other to play (both can't win), but tonight is a fantastic result for us, closer to the line! We *may* be safe before we have to play Arsenal at home.

A cracking result that I did not expect at all. I really did think we'd be in the bottom 3 this morning. We now have an opportunity to beat QPR, the performace against West Ham was slightly better so my optimism is returning!

I said something very similar but I am happy to be wrong. Every single Toon fan was gutted when Wigan went 1-0 up and then equalized later on for 2-2. I doubt many would have put money on Swansea at that point.

    GET IN!!!

Honestly when Wigan scored the second I was thinking 'Two or three more imcoming for them here' but I have never been more happy to be wrong! If we get a draw on sunday I think we are safe. I really can't see Wigan winning/drawing at Arsenal. The heads really have dropped. I'm sure when Maloney was speaking to another Wigan player during Vorm's injury he mouthed 'If we don't get something we are ****ed.'

The essence of what Pardew is going to be drilling into the players this week. 'Aim for the draw lads!'
