Personally I think it's class. Clean, tidy and different to just plain blue or plain white. I'm impressed with Umbro's kits and especially the tailored range what us and Man City have. A link for those who haven't seen it or just want to see the legend that is Titus Bramble again! http://www.safc.com/ptvFlash/sunderland/AwayKit2011/index.html
I really like it, it makes a very nice change from the other away kits we've had in the past. The white stripe across the middle is classy as well
can anyone upload the video or pictures from the mini site on safc if they don't mind as it won't let me view them
This strip is bad news! For my wallet because it's bloody good and all my kids will be be going mad for it!
I recall light blue being the second strip in the 1960's , during one of our 'successful' periods .... A good omen perhaps .......
I quite like it, actually. But I still think the new "braces on the back" home strip is gash. Sticking with my 2010/11 homer...
I think the new kit is filth. It would have been nicer being a solid colour. Why do they insist on reproducing that sky blue colour for away kits every few years? We are not Man City or Napoli. The away colours should be Navy Blue (the clubs original colour) or White (the most common colour for our away kits going back in history)
Blimey Strong words.... We're not Bilbao Athletic either, but we wear red and white stripes.... I think you've answered your own question - by varying the away colours, it at least keeps some fans happy for a year!
I love both the new kits, i'm not one for wearing kits, but i buy them for dossing about playing xbox in.
Really like it. I'll probably buy one of those, and i've never bought a new kit for years. The home strip is ****e mind.
