Hmmmm Full backs that can't defend. For me the lads is to lightweight and the brain seems to have been installed somewhere in the rectal region. Not commited, Get rid quick.
I think hes committed but has to many brain farts to be a LB, Id like to see him at LW because hes a good crosser and it would be nice to have a left footer on the LW and a right footer on the RW and for once we might see some crosses instead of wingers constantly cutting in and losing it.
Nothing about him suggests he's an R. Replace with someone adequate in that dept - who's grateful for an opportunity in a hooped shirt.
He's dangerous going forward. His speed means that he can cover others' mistakes and has done so on several notable occasions. He does seem to get pulled out of position but sustained coaching should be able to fix that. He's young and I think he's got potential. I'd definitely keep him, provided he's committed to the cause, which might well be his downfall. After all, we can't get shot of all our 25 man squad from 2012/13, otherwise we're going to be guilty of making the same mistake all over again.
Hes one of the few that will stay out and clap the fans along with Mackie, Derry, Hill etc so I consider him to be in that group. Ive also never seen him stroll back if he loses the ball like Bosingwa did.
Your right flyer, If he's moved to LW then keep, but why have none of our manager played him there? Maybe a couple of games in front of Fabio would have given us more returns than Hoilet, but he should be gone by christmas if he can't improve.
Has talent and still some development to come. Agree with bulk of opinion that he's better going forward though and should not be used as left back. Concern is he's been quite injury prone - A keeper for me.
I don't really want to see any of the gutless wonders who have turned up over the last two years stay with us but on the grounds that we can't get rid of all of them Traore is a better choice than most. He could do well in the Championship.
He has played there on occasion and looked very good, the reason he hasn't played there consistently is because we don't have another good LB.
Away with the fairies, wandering lonely as a cloud, collecting injuries. Poor fragile soul. Not the sharpest tool in the box, methinks.
Some of the comments are a little bit harsh I think, but he is a frustrating player (didn't Neil say at some point that he wanted to punch him or something??). Anyway, he was far from being our worst player on Sunday, not that that's saying much. Personally, I would keep him for the Championship and push him up to LW as Flyer suggests.. I seem to remember that he has played played up there before hasn't he? Think he did quite well..
When he came to us he had bags of potential, unfortunately today he still bags of potential but has made minimal progress, a coaching fault or player fault I can't tell. Going forward looks good but still makes basic defensive mistakes which I don't understand, I like him and if a coach could start to make him progress great. If not he'll fare OK in the CShip but he really needs to push now.
Think he'll be great in the Championship at either LB or LW and as noted previously he is one of the few to stay out and acknowledge the fans and is often the first over to the away fans giving his shirt away to a kid. Regardless of his ability to lump him in with Boswinga etc is unjust. You can't say he doesn't try.
Not many Rs about Beth. Take Clint and Sean as 'ideal types' to compare with. They LOOK and SOUND like they care in everything they do. Traore wears the expression like he's worried about his own performance but not fussed about the shirt. If he's convinced Flyer of all people though, maybe it's just me... As for LW candidate, sure he can run and dribble a bit but apart from the odd cross, not too much end product going on. Wingers are often pretty handy at dead ball situations but our guy can't shoot to save his life. Limited prospect as a winger imho, in any league.
Don't forget he was drummed out of Arsenal after they lost 8-2 at ManUre, he just isn't RELIABLE, that's a word that Harry needs to instill into our team and players coming in need to be the type who aren't going to perform the sort of blunders that have seen us off this year. Look at our record in the Championship-winning season, only 6 defeats, only 32 goals conceded, 25 clean sheets, you don't get that with unreliable prima donnas...
