Nearly 35 yrs old. Hasn't played in the league for his parent club (Watford ) in last 2 seasons. Has been on loan at Notts County ( 5 games, 0 goals ) & Oldham ( 7, (1) ) - no thanks

Certainly fits the "target man" role some say is required to get the best out of McDonald

I actually think that Kedwell was starting to show improvements towards the end of the season. He could fit the bill. When we were playing 'hoofball' in the middle of the season, Kedwell actually won quite a few headers - sadly we didn't have the strike partnership to profit. I would worry about relying on Kedwell for enough goals - but rather like Akinfenwa, he could do a good job with somebody like Cody.

Kedders and Cody would be a perfectly decent partnership for League 1... mid-table Lg 1 anyway. And I for one would be very pleased with a nice consolidatory mid-table finish next year.

Wonder if Bayo will be available again after the weekend? - Good enough for L1? Back with CMD and a good defence behind them?

Yeah that is what I thought, I am happy he has gone to Pompey, hopefully he will do well as he is a good player but he injuries are a worry for any club that takes him.

Glad he's gone there. At least now people won't go on about him coming back to us.Nowhere good enough for us now.

Hang on guys if we are aiming higher than Barcham, then why have we got Weston? If we want to go down that route then I'd say go and get Jordan Obita, now we are a league one side. Far more powerful than Weston.

I think Weston is a decent impact player. However I would like that Obita as he is a very good player.

I thought I read somewhere (or maybe a rumour) that Obita had gone to a championship club. I can't understand this fixation with Barcham, who was a good player the first season with us, but then went of the boil and never recaptured that form. He was hardly a success at Scunthorpe and was frequently dropped. Weston is a different type of player, who is inconsistant, but I would rather have him than the Barcham of his last season with us. I would like a consistant winger, but they are few and far between ,and you've only got to look at wingers throughout the leagues to see what I mean.

I thought Obita was still at Reading but had been loaned out to a number of clubs during that time. Although Reading are to be a Championship club now - lol

Just checked his twitter page and his profile states Reading.

I think we would need to be in the Championship to attract Simeon.

Simeon will make Championship football with no real problems.

Nice dream but not a chance.
