5 reasons why it's the end for United.

How much more money do you think it will take for Chelsea and City to be able to compete with United? Maybe you could join forces and become one club?

14 points in the league last season. 25 the season before. OK that does show signs of improvement and if you spend another £100million or so this summer you could get within a few points but recent history hardly suggests you've competed with anyone other than Arsenal and Spurs.

Chelsea were a cup team long before Roman took over, although I suspect you're clueless of that. That's why Rafa was the perfect manager for you.

 

We've done poorly in the league over the last 2 seasons, but prior to that always competed, and even in that spell we managed to win the CL and were the last English club to do so and probably England's best chance of doing so in the near future.

Happy with where we are at, now is the time to reassert ourselves in the league. For me, that has to be the priority even above the CL win. The transition period is over now, United only had an FA Cup to show for their efforts in their period of transition but at least we've won the CL.

Don't actually think we will dominate the league and not come across a Chelsea fan that does. To my mind its City's league to dominate. They have the best squad and players in their prime. We have a talented squad but lack experience and balance at the moment.

 

Citys squad isnt all that and I dont see any real improvement yet. hey sign a winger who just had a poor season and a midfielder who at 28 wasnt picked up by a single club considered 'big'. He also came from the Ukraine league, where 99% of the sides would get hammered by double digit score lines in England.

Until another club proves otherwise United are the team to beat.

The greatest manager of this era and yet one of the worst in Real's history who couldn't get another job at a big club so settled for a club that has already booted him out once. Great!
