Look when Rafa has won it.

    When the pressure is off.

Look at him when hes working under pressure. Hes done **** all.

I was taking the piss slightly though <laugh>

Ive always rated Moyes higher. probably because I dont rate rafa in the slightest and consider him one of the worst managers in football <ok>

Rafa and Moyesy both losers who should be confined to managing in the fourth world. Why anyone let them out beggars belief. Both will end up back where they belong, in that hellish Irish colony

I wasnt one of the United fans wishing for Moyes as you know but to be fair to him hes not had the money of the Waiter has he. Lets see how he does with loads of cash then judge him.

I think he will do well. He will win the title at United imo and some domestic cups but I dont see him doing much in europe for a while. 1/4 finals at best for the next few years as up against the top sides he will be on a learning curve.

Agree. He should win a Prem with the set up and squad he has.

Do you think Rafa could win CL with the current United squad. I think Rafa could win the league with the current United squad and Jose obviously would. But both would deface the United brand so maybe Moyes + fewer trophies is better for the Franchise and the Glazers overall global imaging

I dont think rafa would to be honest. He would be under pressure and I challenge anyone to find an example of the fact chap winning under pressure. Thats what real winners do. Fergie, Mourinho.

You are probably right, he does lose it under pressure like Torres, Gerrard, Liverpool FC

Your first mistake was using the words 'win' and 'Rafa' in the same sentence.

He doesnt win, he just delays inevitable failure. Should he had stayed at Chelsea this season, come April 2014 you would be in the SPL.

And yet whilst he was there teams like Swansea,Wigan and B'ham won trophies....or are they bigger and better than Everton? He didn't win anything because he's not good enough too.

like Wenger is not good enough anymore. No trophy in 8 years and no league in 9 years that's awful for a big club.

    What's your point?

Pre-Sky any real football fan would have taken a trophy and been relegated than not had anything and be languishing in 17th every season. It's only down to the media and the implication that the Premier League is the be all and end all hat attitude and mentality has changed (money being thrown at the PL as well).

A cup win is etched in the history books, give it 2/3 years and no one will be able to tell you who went down in the 2012/13 season off the top of their head.

Glory is part of the game, it's about winning trophies.

DL, you're about 28 years old right? So you were about 8 when Sky took over football.

Not saying I disagree with everything you've said, just not sure how someone weaned on football under Sky can be the authority on what football fans wanted pre-1990's. Your belief that everything you say is gospel is what makes you one of the most laughed at posters on this forum as most of your comments are unsubstantiated nonsense. No offence like.

Your last comment is very modern Chelsea though. Very, very modern Chelsea!

No, not 28. You don't need to be around in that era to know people that were. There are plenty of people that judge Hitler, when most weren't alive during the Third Reich.

The "no one on this forum takes you seriously" mantra is a classic case of someone that can't challenge a statement. You appear to lack the intellect or football knowledge to challenge people hence why your only comments are obtuse and insulting.

I said glory is part of the game and it's about winning trophies, I didn't say the game was about winning trophies, that's United folklore.

OK, you're younger than 28 and you get upset easily when you've been called. Understood. Should I expect to be banned now as I know you like to throw your toys out of your pram?

I've bolded the funniest part of your post. Great stuff DL.

Why would you be banned? You can't get banned for non-stop BS as far as I know, plus it's on the PL board anyway. Whether I'm older or younger than 28 is irrelevant.
