Cabaye had to scream it across the box otherwise keeper would have got it.

Dunno why our front players have dropped back so deep after we scored. Remy is almost playing left wing.... back.

Typical Toon tho...look in total control until we score.

Its gonna be a long second half.

It looked a shot from Cabaye. If he'd fizzed it in HBA's general direction, tap in. He apologised though.

Of course look at the masterclass he has put on tactically today. Silencing more and more of his critics with every game..................

    Fantastic teamwork overall
I can't pick out our best performer and for the first time in a year thats a good thing.
Sissoko making lovely lil touches, playing his holding role well but maybe switch him and cabaye?
Cabaye maybe seeking to do too much but i put that down to an effort to impress.
With ben arfa and remy on the wings teams dont know what to do, it gives so many more options for us.
Credit where it's due, debuchy looks solid. I feared how agbonny would destroy him on that side but he's kept a cool head.
This first half has seen further reasoning for santon as a winger, his attacking abilities definitely outweigh his defence.
Yanga has been our saver once again, this guy is truly another class.
We're gunna be going into this second half against a villa team lookking to score, we'll probably let one in but still, this first half has given some good hope that these players can click together and work for this team, happy days!

I Hope we dont get one of Pardew's legendary demotivating half time talks.. with Tiote on to give away fouls outside the box.. and a painful 45 mins of backs against the wall

Looking quite good at the moment, no reason why we shouldn't get the three points out of this.

Got my cash on 1-0 and 2-1.

Yeh **** constant defending cos villa will have a field day.
Anita over tiote anyday cos he keeps us attacking with his reliable passing.
Loving the joe strummer avatar btw, might put captain sensible on mine

Best form of defence is attack.

    Attack, Attack, Attack Attack Attack.

    Cheers JTL

I knew I shouldn't have posted that about Pardews half time talks..

Ok will try this.. we gonna counter attack them in next 5 mins, come close to scoring (remy) and restore the games balance

I'd bring on Marv for Cisse, send Remy up top.
