Rosenior Huddlestone Chester Rosenior won it as the last few games Ben Arfa has won Newcastle games with wonder goals, yet all day Rosenior had him in his pocket. Huddlestone was brilliant to, some of his balls where a class above. Chester barely put a foot wrong, i think we will miss him hugely. Feel harsh leaving Aluko out, but everyone was brilliant.
Aluko (great skill, great energy, great winner) Davies (simply an immense signing - brilliant every week) Rosey (kept their danger man quiet and looked sharp) Well played also to Brady, Chester, Thudd and Livermore. And Elmo in the second half.
Aluko Chester Davies I also thought Brady and Huddlestone had notably good games, as did Elmo and Rosenior in the second half. Boyd also looked sharp when he came on.
1) Rosenior - fantastic. Top draw performance PL quality proven to everyone now. 2) Chester & Davies - can't pick either apart both brilliant. 3) Huddlestone - just a quality quality footballer.
This is almost impossible to pick since 8-9 players are in contention. But these 3 stood out for me Davies (maybe the best CH in the Prem right now) Aluko (the game winning goal) Rosenior (brilliant job marking Ben Arfa out of the game Very honourable mention to Chessie, Huddlestone, Elmo, Livermore, Brady
As an exiled Tiger currently in captivity in North Tyneside, it seems an appropriate time to join this forum. Can't wait to get to work on Monday morning, just to listen to the excuses. I had to listen to actual real conversation on Friday which included the words 'honestly, with Ben Arfa literally unplayable, I reckon we'll get 6'. So gotta go; Rosenior Aluko Huddleston
Thudd's passing today was so class. This is gonna sound weird but I really hope he is happy here. I doubt he ever imagined playing for us but I hope he can see what he can become here. He may not be on the bench in the champions league but he can become a real favourite. I do hope he came not out of last resort but because he genuinely sees potential.
