Wenger is way too lenient on the players; I can’t possibly imagine Alex Ferguson allowing his captain to do this. Of course you can always argue that they both have different player management techniques, I just however still feel it’s not acceptable. Third spot was still a possibility at that stage; you should be in the dressing room, setting a good example by motivating the team.
May be because wenger doesnt want to offend the captain and the best player at the club? PARTIALITY EVENTUALLY RUINS
Probably found it more interesting to watch, even though the Grand Prix is the most boring thing in the world in my opinion I ca't blame him.
Someone, I think it was Stuart Pearce, made the point that any English captain of an English club would have required a team of wild horses to keep him away from being with his team-mates and his fans on the last game of the season. He said that, injured or not, the club captain would have wanted to have limped out there, to the away end, and clapped his loyal fans, showing them his appreciation for all their support over the long, hard season. I rather got the impression that he would have liked to have decked Fabregas for being an absolute arsehole. And who would have blamed him? Not me, that's for sure.
How many posts do you actually get involved with on your own teams board? Just admit you love us and be done with it.
