There's a big group of us travelling up to Newcastle at the end of the month for the West Brom game. Originally we had a large apartment rented out for the night that could hold 16 people, but there was a problem and they could no longer accommodate us.

Does anyone know anywhere that can hold large groups of people? I can't seem to find anywhere on Google, so we may just have to get hotel rooms. If anyone knows any cheap hotels that would be good!

Believe the Swallow Hotel in Gateshead is fairly cheap, you could always check them out. Bus from outside the Hotel to Newcastle takes about 15 mins.

There's lots of premier inns around Newcastle.
The ones I find which are the cheapest are the NCL Quayside ones to be fair.
There's also a decent Travelodge on the quayside with lots of rooms evwen cheaper.
It's a stonesthrow from the river.

Think other Baggies fans have beaten you to this as its sold out that night. All the cheaper hotels are already booked up that night.

Failing that, there's the odd pub or two that do B&B.

    Worth checking out.

Pubs on the Durham Road. < Check that out and you might find something suitable.

Failing that, you could always try Wetherspoons ( The Old Union Rooms) opposite the Central Station. Very popular with most visiting supporters.

Of course if you're a red head, ACS might put you up for the night.

Don't tell him I said so though.

Try Jurys Inn (one in town one in Gateshead). Relatively cheap, nice enough, dirty breakfast in the morning. Usually full of stag dos and hen weekends.

The away coach has left from there before, saw lots of kids running around wild, pressing the buttons for all the lifts at the same time without wanting to use them and just being left to it.

Newcastle is a party town, and is to host many stag/hen parties etc. I doubt finding somewhere for large parties would be difficult. Unless notice is short.
