Had a good few go your way too though Sid. No doubt there has been a few bad decisions. A few of the ones moaned about are seen through red and white specs though.

The bottom line is though, you can either wallow in self pity or change your own luck. Always the same at the bottom. When we went down the whole club seemed pre occupied with our injury list. It was terrible but was certainly not the reason for our demise. If Sunderland go down it won't be because they got a few dodgy decisions. At the moment its more a catalogue of individual errors.

I think Pasta De Cockup did more of a supermarket sweep when buying players than popping down to Harrods and getting a bit of quality, Sunderlands next 4 matches pitch them against West Ham and Norwich who are both gonna be battling to stay out of the drop zone and Chelsea and Everton, they need to pull something out from these as the gap is beginning to show, as for players there are none that I would take. Much as I would like to wave goodbye to them I actually think the Tyne Wear derby is worth them being around, fans of other clubs will argue the toss on this but having lived in Manchester, Liverpool and London no other derby matches the intensity that is felt in the North East.

Although I have to add that I think they will survive by the skin of their teeth as I see the drop boys as being:

    Palace
    Cardiff
    Stoke

I think Sunderland might just stay up but I agree with Hacky, mentality the players have to put the bad decisions behind them and get on with the task in hand, getting results.

Think Sunderland will go, with Palace and Fulham, however it will be close with other teams such as Stoke and Cardiff.

Was talking to a guy in the pub the other night and I said I wouldn't mind them staying up because it's easier and cheaper to go along the road for the game than dan saf, plus there's that little bit of extra interest that you get with a derby game.

He didn't seem to see it that way though.

Fletcher is as good as any of your strikers mate, came back from injury recently, he will start banging them in now we have a good run of home matches left.

Brown is good at the back, maybe Fletcher up top, but the others you can keep. Poyet rumoured to be looking to make sweeping changes in the January transfer window.....that's another seven or eight in, another ten out.

And so the mackem revolving doors revolve again. You really couldn't make it up.

    Absolutely none of them.
Theres players in our reserves who'd walk into the makems first team.
    Thats not spite, just realism
Still think S/land will - just - escape the drop.
I have a sneaky feeling West Ham will go this season

I reckon Pullis will keep Palace up. It won't be pretty and he will need to bring a few players in during the transfer window but I believe Pullis has never managed a team to relegation and he will use all his nous to keep them up. And it would be hilarious if Stoke went down in their place!

I'd take Sessegnon, the only player they have with any real quality ..be a very useful squad player for us ..Oh, they got rid of him..ah that makes sense, he must have been showing up the other cloggers too badly in training.

For the record, hope Sunderland stay up ..on the final day ..in the last minute relying on a goal being scored elsewhere..

Ideally for the drop ..Villa, Stoke, Chelsea
Realistically ..Stoke , Palace and Fulham

Fat Sham is favourite in the sack race so, with the Olympic stadium move looming, he two porn lads won't hang around too long before they fire him.
A new manager will give them the instant boost.
