Regardless of what we may have wanted he is the man they chose. I worry about the prospect of a QPR style of revolving door Italians and other overseas managers bit lets wait and see. In the meantime welcome on board Seppi and the best of British to you - you may need it........

Nowt wrong with 'underwhelmedment' - some overwhelming appointments haven't worked out, eg Vialli, whereas some underwhelming ones have - eg Dyche.

But we need to support him regardless, until he proves absolutely that he is not the man for the job. Fingers crossed....

Spot on BB, especially re. Dychey. I reckon he's got the rest of the season to prove himself, so that may be an incentive, but I will be cheering him and on the boys on.

All I can say is that I'm glad he's on our side. Just the look of him scares me!

I know the regulars quite rightly pride themselves on being among the politest and friendliest on the whole forum but how much longer do we have to put up with this garbage? It would not be tolerated on some boards.

I think a few of the regulars would agree with him - and since when did polite free speech become reason to be banned? Or do you prefer the inane hello have some rep comments? BBC606 was more powerful than not606 because there was more interclub banter and dare I say it WUMs.

I have not felt quite so low about supporting Watford since EJ foolishly allowed GT to walk and appointed Bassett. The new man has remarkably little in his favour that I can see and zero knowledge of English football. GFZ may well have done the decent thing by resigning but the question did he fall or was he pushed springs to mind - he chose to go before he was sacked.

I hope yello and his ilk are pleased with what they have now got. I feel Watford have lost a little more of their soul and am sorry

They say that women prefer continuous assessment rather than taking an exam, whereas men are happy to take the risk of what might come up. Well all of us male gender people should be quite happy because we are about to take a step into the unknown and on the face of it a large risk. There are plenty of managers currently employed in the Championship who know it very well, appointed because the owners thought them a safe pair of hands, yet they have been on the manager merry-go-round many times, to be replaced by yet another experienced man. The fans see what they achieve and know exactly what to expect. This will not be the case next Saturday as we don't have a clue what will be served up.

<applause> the wise man has spoken! all of you who doubt take heed. We walk into the unknown but we are Watford, let's just wait and see what he can come up with before doubting his abilities, the Pozzo's are not idiots they know our new man and must rate him otherwise he would not be in the seat!

Time to hold our thoughts, get behind the new manager and the team. We need to show those that booed and sang crap and helped push a decent man to resign that they cannot win.

Well, sad as i was to see Zola go and disappointed as i am that the opportunity hasn't been taken to replace Chamberlain, despite bringing in a GK coach, i'm excited now that i've seen the new team and can only think positive thoughts! Saturday is going to be very interesting! Darn it, why am i so hopeful! lol

I'm happy with the GK coach situation. Rather than sacking someone who does a good job but has 1/2 faults get him some help from someone who doesn't have toss faults and that compliments him. It would be wrong to discard Alec after all his years of service. After all Richard Lee, Scott Loach and John Bond have all been good shot stoppers but simply lacked command in the box and air.

Just stating a fact lads .
Watford are in freefall and if a gamble on a manager who does not know the championship backfires, you will be in big danger .
I would of employed Warnock to the end of the season for safety, and then thought about a new manager .:emoticon-0100-smile

Right; I asked you on another thread tounge in cheek to give me thinker skin. Hornets sting and hoops well get stuck around stuff, and you are stuck around here like sh*t on my shoe.

    So facts:

    1. You are mostly on here to try put salt in the wounds, yes I've bitten.
    2. It is 'Would have employed' not would of employed. You are grammering all over the gaff son, lettering leprosy.
    3. Forget it mate...we're getting bored of it, well at least I am.
    4. So, it's late get to bed, no estas tan cabron para jugar con migo mi hijo, nunca saves hombre. te podria chingar. Got me ranting in Spanish and all.

    Right:

Go back to where you belong, the QPR board, and come over and wind us lot up when you play us, decent enough, right? If you are lucky you might even get 6 points from little old Watford.

Anyways I'm off until new year, so hopefully Watford will be doing better then.

A lot of people need feedback, so here it is for you STH, I'm squeezing the caffeine out of the teabag, after a long day man, and you need to either try to be amicable or do one, at all time satan's call must be ignored as you mate might be in mental free fall, your mental fabric is torn as much as your judgement is worn.

That is the nicest way I can put it for now.

Un?Poetic justice man, no nothing like that at all, higher planes, mescal metaphors tonight!

I won't bite again, but you are not welcome to make such (d)W/UM(b) comments here.
