Fair point Dai 2, and surprisingly well put, thank you. You can't believe everything you read but its so easy to label someone a liar when you don't agree with them, its simply a childish response when either a nerve has been pinched or when the capacity isn't there to understand or comprehend another's view. I expect there are hundreds of instances when your post above could be applied to many of your unsubstantiated and crass posts you have made in the past. Although I do not respect your views I do respect your rite to air them. I would say that you try to control yourself and refrain from calling me a liar because your view lay elsewhere. That is very childish and not worthy of a Swans fan. As I said to Libertarian, your long standing defender, believe what you want, its of no consequence to me.
"your long standing defender". Not quite sure what this is all about. I've never "defended" Dai,merely "defended " his right to air his opinions. However, your demolition of Ki, are not your opinions, merely the relating of second/third hand gossip, with no hint of substantiation.
Libertarian Fair point, but it does seem that you defend him, and only him. I accept I may be wrong, I don't live on this board, just drop in occasionally but on the times I have it is something I've noticed What are opinions Lib, if their not beliefs based on information, regardless of where the info comes from. I emparted what I was told, I also told you to take it or leave it. If you wish to call it's source gossip then, as I said, its of no consequence to me. What may well be consequential are your views, what are they, what do you think happened ? You have to admit that it is strange one, that one of our better players (not my personal opinion just gossip) was let go to another premiership team and it was all done very quickly.
I have "defended" Dai in as much as he is entitled to air his opinions on this Forum. Others felt/feel differently, and only want to silence/humiliate,and ridicule him - still!!! I don't agree with everything he says, but I will defend his right to correctly air his views, even if I am the only one doing it. I would afford you the same consideration. I am a loss to understand why this stance causes you so much grief. With regards KI,I have no idea as to what "happened",but it seems that the powers that be at the Club see him as superfluous to requirements.
Didn't have time to read the whole thread but at a fans forum at the Liberty months ago Huw told me Ki would be a SCFC player next year.
I have been the other 'supporter' of Dai here Vetch. Like you I support his right to have an opinion and voice it - however out of step he is. But despite that he recently turned on me quite viciously over the musty incident when I was totally in the right (musty ended up getting banned) so he won't be getting my backing from now on. Sod him.
And no player before in the history of the game has thrown his toys out of the pram ,of course it happens , picked from playing SPL football with a£6.000.000 valuation on his head , a famous wife (relative to his home country and to perhaps some random film buffs). He's bound to feel cock of the walk ,Thats not to say that this is the case but it's not that unusual for it not to be maybe true either.
Libertarian, Good, we'll agree to differ and end it there, no hard feelings from me Re Ki, I do stand by my source, I appreciate you may have a different opinion but you have to admit, the speed and shock of the move does suggest that something irregular went on
Well if the Ki story has come from the Academy then it probably has a grain of truth but I have to say I find it extraordinary that any player this day and age would 'demand' he starts every game - particularly when the Manager happens to be a certain Michael Laudrup. If he did then it's no wonder we said adios.
I don't see any point in re-opening the Dai scenario, sufficient to say he can be his own worse enemy, and I never condone insults, abuse, etc.,regardless of where they come from.
