German to Northampton

    I wouldn't mind marlon (asshole that he is ) as a short term player ( I think hes up before the beak in March ). If we dont have him, someone else will. Yes, he's been in jail, but so have other players and the law doesn' t stop ex jailbirds from working at their chosen job.

    I wish Antonio German all the best at Northampton Town and hopefully he comes back to Gillingham with a few goals, a few games under his belt and more confidence in his own ability.

    I think we took a punt on Antonio German when Martin Allen signed him, hoping that Antonio German would come to Gillingham and play exceptionally well and we were hoping to sell him on for a profit with Antonio German being Gillingham's next sellable asset, but it has not worked out like that as Antonio German has only made 12 appearances for The Gills and only two of those appearances were starts.

    He still has time to turn things around, you only have to look at Matt Fish's first season at Gillingham and then his incredible performances for us last season, including that belter against Accrington Stanley to see that players can improve if there are given the time to improve.
