Can't believe just how much better Forest look than West Ham. I know they have a lot of injuries and barely a full squad but this must be embarrassing for Hammers fans!

and it's the first time (that I can remember) seeing a fan crying in the 3rd round of the FA Cup! Okay, he was only a young lad, but still had a laugh when I saw it

Same here. Not a fan of West Ham and always good fun to watch them struggle!

And just maybe the end of a long association between West Ham United and Wrigleys chewing gum?

Fantastic display of attacking football and great to watch.

Henri Lansbury anyone???? We could certainly do with someone with his drive and attacking flair. <ok>

If you play direct, negative football and still lose what is the point. Hoping the same will happen for Mourinho

Allardyce will do well to survive that, but I don't think it's all his fault. Their injury issues have been at least as bad as ours, so it's no surprise he played a few youngsters. Forest are full of confidence and were up for it, so it's not a great surprise they won.

Especially with two and a half years to run on his contract.

Their finances seem very weird to me, they moan about the Carroll signing crippling them financially, yet apparently they want Rickie Lambert for £7m, and Lacina Traore too. Either you've got money or you don't, surely?

Might be a choice of new manager or new player. £50k a week wages equate to a £6.5m payoff by my maths.

Not convinced that a 3rd round FA cup result is much of a guide. If it was then Cardiff v West Ham next week would be a home banker. But my money is still on a nil nil draw.

I'm very surprised he is still playing his football in the Championship. He could walk into a few clubs in the Prem no questions asked. I guess Arsenal aren't ready for him in their squad but don't want to let him go, and certainly not to a Prem rival.

I live and work in Stratford and a Hammers coach let slip that Andy Carroll is in a drug rehab program in Holland.

That rumour's been doing the rounds for a while now, but it doesn't add up to me.

If Carroll is/was on something illegal, then why are West Ham hiding/protecting that, rather than giving it the Adrian Mutu approach? It's been well-publicised that West Ham think his transfer was a waste of money and that they should have used the fee+wages on multiple players instead, so why hide this (and risk the FA coming down on them), rather than rip up his contract and sue him for the money they've lost in acquiring and paying him? Presumably if he was on something they could have started these proceedings months ago, so whilst they might not have the money in the bank by now, they'd at least have reassurances they'd be getting it.

While this cup humiliation will be embarrasing the result against Cardiff is key for Sam next week. From our point of view it is a shame that these two play each other because both are prime to lose in my opinion and at least one of them will pick something up. Another case of us and CH getting no luck at all.
