Good news at last Wes Brown has been linked with Villa
Things just seem to be getting worse for Villa fans and of course a certain darren bent
I don't think he was the big named signing they were all looking for and i am pleased he looks as if he is passing us by

    that is extremely good news

he is a player I would not be bothered about if he came or he doesn't

much better centre backs around who we could get IMO

okay brucey, now take the money you wanted to squander on brown, add £6m or so, and go bid for scott dann.

i'm not too pleased that o'shea may still be on, but brown is utterly rubbish, and a crock to boot. the last thing we need to be doing is signing players with a poor injury record, you can be a footballer who's never caught so much as a cold, show up for training once at the aol and drop down dead.

I didn't agree with the approach for Brown in the first place. Too many injuries during his career make him a liability to any potential new club.

So a bit of good news, for a change!

TBH, I don't rate John O'Shea even though I am Irish. He is unconvincing IMO. Probably an OK backup for Bramble/Turner if he does land up here. Too inconsistent for my liking.

Wes Brown? No way whatsoever, unless SB can perform another Titus miracle and Brown provides something we have not seen recently.

I would rather see Danny back again, permanently.

    Brown? **** him.
    O'Shea? **** him.
    Gibson? Don't care.
    N'Gog? Don't care.
    Gardner? Don't care.
Danny Boy? I'd let him have a go at the wife if he'd come back!

i actually think gardner would be a canny signing, ten goals in all competitions last year, that's what, double what our midfield got?? summat like that.

my one issue would be though, how then do we fit gardner, gibson, cattermole, meyler, colback into one midfield??

and yes, i'd give my kneecaps to have welbeck signed up again.

just one kneecap for a loan like, both if it was a permanent deal.

I reckon they're the new big crisis club and could easily go the way of us/Leeds if not careful.
I'm sure we all can make a rare agreement we'd take some pleasure from watching it happen!

SEll Catts, let Meyler have a longer and fuller recovery, sorted!

Absolutely, they can ****ing rot, not because of the Bent thing, but because of the 'we're so big and special' attitude of there fans thinking they are Man United botherers.

    They can **** right off.

I still think Brown is a reasonable player but I wouldn't lose any sleep if he went elsewhere,Bardsley could play in his natural position at right back and O'Shea can play comfortably at left back if need be.I think we all would agree a natural left back would be a preferred signing anyway.

According to the reports Everton were also interested in Brown so he can't be too bad.

Brown's not useless, but he is pretty average, and United sell players who are starting to decline.

He's not the man for us, no way.
