Marouane Fellaini has raised doubts about his Everton future by revealing he wants to play in the UEFA Champions League.

The Toffees are keen to tie down the Belgium international to a new contract, but as yet no new deal has been agreed.

Fellaini, who has two years left on his current terms, has cast doubt on his Goodison Park stay by claiming he wants to be playing at the highest level.

"One thing is certain, I want to play in a team that wins trophies and plays in the Champions League," Fellaini is quoted as saying in the News of the World.

"But Everton is a team below the top level."

Anyone up for that? I know I would be very happy with him.

now you've posted that, we'll get WUMs coming on saying: "He said he wants to play in a team that wins trophies, so he won't go to you"...

and that WUM would most certainly be a spud, so my answer would be that he also wants to play in the CL, so he DEFINATELY wont go to you.

I think Fellaini would be a good buy, he is strong and quick and proven in the premier league. I think we could get him for around £10m too, so he wouldn't break the bank either. <ok>

You are completely right about how good he is, but you are forgetting his injury record. In that position we need someone who is constantly available and Fellaini is way too injury prone for that.

Get him dye his hair yellow, and play his and song together!

Who would dare go past a team with 2 big yellow afros!
they'd look like glitched fifa 11 players!

He'd probably cost more than 10 million knowing evertons money woes they'd, quite rightly, want a hell of a lot for him.

I think Fellaini would be a good signing although i think we would need to pay something in the region of £20 million for him and if we are gonna be spending that type of money i would honestly rather see us buy rodwell...

£35 million plus denilison and a youngster (maybe lansbury) for baines rodwell and fellaini... could be worse deal done...
