"So mate what you do is take a heavy touch try and beat the defender, then float in an early cross which can easily be cleared away by the centre half as it was completely predictable and I haven't taken it to the by-line all season"

    Cardiff:

    Mutch
    Noone
    Medel
    Caulker

    Fulham:

    Dejagah
    Holtby
    Sidwell

    Norwich:

    Redmond
    Snodrass

Not saying they would all be starters as well by the way, we need to have a deeper squad

Of course, Caulker, Medel and probably Redmond as well would cost a bundle.

Sidwell is coming out of contract, isn't he? There'll be a few clubs sniffing around him, though, so his wages wouldn't be low.

We're not safe yet. Norwich have played well in the first half.

Why the clamour for Dejedah? He hasn't been an ever present for Fulham, but scored a couple of goals recently and somehow hailed as a messiah. He has little work rate, doesn't track back. He would not fit in with any formation we play.

Sidwell would be a fantastic purchase from Fulham.

Simple - the opportunity for chants/songs involving his name.

On a similar theme, who out of the non promoted top 10 from the championship would be a decent shout

Derby- Hughes but way out of our price range
Wigan - Watson or McManaman or possibly McArthur

I'm not as clued up on the Champ these days other than some leading scorers - any others?

whoever loses out of those two of Derby and Wigan I would look at snagging a couple. Bryson from Derby would be perfect for us

I completely agree with Dejagah, people seem to be judging him purely from that goal he got against us. Sidwell is a player who gives it his all every game and chips in with a goal here and there. He seems a leader on the pitch too.

What about Olsson from Norwich? Seems a solid, pacey left back (our weakest position) and apparently one of their better players this season.

There's a midfielder plays for Blackburn goes by the name of Cairney, seems decent, reckon he could be a PL player.<whistle>

Also back to the original topic, how about Turner from Norwich, might be good for back up?

Seems like Cairney has been playing very well for Blackburn, picked up player of the season, 5 goals and 7 assists

Would take Redmond. Fits the profile of a player we would go after to a tee. Is English, is good mates with Davies, and is pacy and skilled. Would be basically a like for like replacement for Aluko who we could/should try to offload.

Mutch from Cardiff would be the only one I would consider. The rest would either be on too high wages; the Holtbys of this world, or too old. Marshall is a good keeper but Brucey has that covered although personally would prefer him to Harps.

Always been pretty impressed with Ulloa at Brighton if he was to become available.

Would never come here to be number two.

His spectacular season will see him sought by much higher up clubs. Could see a Spurs or Arsenal go in for him.
