I shall be wearing my Binatone hooped shirt, but due to,too many years in Turkish sun the actual hoops are now a very strange sort of purply/blue but the blue on the sleeves is still blue, Daughter will be in old cargiant black and red (not dennis hoops) shirt, for me it all about making our end of the ground a sea of blue and white !!!!!!!
I haven't worn colours since a very interesting experience on the tube when I lived in Surrey Quays, consisting of a carriage full of returning West Ham supporters and 2 Millwall supporters but I'm going to make and exception for this one.
I think one or two on here are being a little judgemental of those of us who choose to wear a QPR shirt to games. I never used to wear colours in the 70s & 80s either, apart from a scarf occasionally. However, I started to wear a replica shirt when my young lads started to come to LR with me. It's now a bit of a tradition, even though one is now 14 and the other 20! Anyway, when it comes to a Wembley final, SURELY you'd want to be in your team's colours?
Couldn't bring myself to buy the current shirt but have just bought a quite classy red and black Guinness number.
Still not for me Col.........But if a load of forty or 50 something's feel the need to show their support for our team by dressing up in a football shirt, when half couldn't run a hundred yards before keeling over......fair enough, it's just not for some of us.
**** it.. Jester hat, facepaint, plastic clappy sticks, foam hands and a huge #we'lltweetwhatwewant banner. I'll then buy some official QPR playoff final t-shirts and scarves to complete the look. Fortunately I'll save money on the day by bringing tea in my official QPR thermos.
I really don't get what your problem is with this. Who cares if they look like Mr muscles or Big Daddy? Each to their own mate.....I thought that was your mantra?
I wondered if I'd get a bite from you Col . Sorry fella, I couldn't resist (I'm actually pissing my self laughing )
I'll not make it down (very jealous of all you who are going to be there), but the house will be decked out in blue n white and shirts will be worn whilst drinking as much London Pride as I can get my hands on
Really not sure about this old guys shouldn't be wearing football shirts thing, but last Nov 23rd this is how a group of us fine not606 fellows presented ourselves at the Charlton game, and although it will likely be a much warmer day at Wembley, if I was in attendance, I would be decked out in similar fashion.
Nice one Killy. I didn't realise there was a picture of myself and my young lad taken on the day. Might get a copy of the pic off ya!? Cheers.
Wear your QPR top with pride, just don't be a full kit ****er. please log in to view this image Just a guy doing his groceries wearing his Manchester United kit. He don't even care.
