What was the first away ground you went to ???

Mine was Ashton Gate in the 2006 / 2007 season when Gillingham lost 4 - 3 to Bristol City in The Second Round of The FA Cup and Phil Jevons scored a hat trick past us.

Darlington away in 2008, a Gary Richards back heel won us the game in the last minute

Scarborough Sept 1990, it was Ron Hillyards last ever match we lost 2-1 and I think Hagar scored for us

Wigan away in what I think was either 96 or 97, needless to say we lost.

    Can't remember. Bournemouth, Oxford, Luton?

Possibly one of the famous 1-0 wins at Aldershot in the 1964 Div4 Champions season.

I think mine was Stamford Bridge in '99. HenryGills I was at that game, I have never seen home support dwarfed by their stadium to that extent, I wouldn't have heard them of they didn't have the drum!

Pride Park I went with a friend who was a county season ticket holder so had to sit in with the home supporters. Talk about hell as we lost

I've been trying to answer this question for some time, but I genuinely can't remember! Going to have to do some serious digging to find out!

I know it's weird...I had the same problem...I can easily remember the first home game i ever went too...West Ham... but away game I'm not sure why that is so absent from mind.

Same BRB, first home game was Scunthorpe in the 92-93 season. I have early memories of Reading's old ground and the league cup run at Coventry and Ipswich however can't pin down what the first one was!

Oxford back in 77 or 78.

Was 1-1 with an early goal for 'Fleet-footed' Danny Westwood (as he was always called in the papers).
Think we outnumbered the home fans that day. Around a 4000 crowd and probably more than 2000 Gills I reckon.
