For the last two nights the city of Belfast has played host to riots. Yobs (Loyalist ) attacking Police with petrol bombs and stones. And also of course targetting Catholic homes and churches.

With this in mind you can see why it made sense for the IFA to limit the amount of their fans who were allowed travel to Dublin for the match against the ROI. They simply did not trust them to behave like civilised human beings and you know what they were correct.

Imagine if NIreland fans had been allowed travel down in large numbers. They would have wreaked havoc on the people who live near the Aviva stadium.

Of course they got a "taste" of what these sectarian animals are capable of before NIrelands previous visit to Dublin (the 3-0 defeat to Scotland) where a larger number of Nireland fans engaged in singing provactive hate filled songs and intimidated innocent locals.

I supposse it turned out to be a blessing in disguise for the GAWA that only a few hundred of them bothered to travel down (remember these are the self titled "Best Fans In the World" ) as it spared them the humiliation of seeing their side ripped apart by a vastly superior ROI team. A team who thrashed them 5-0!!!

A reality check i like to call it!!!
