The sports lawyer the EP talk about has not been quoted correctly as he also said if there are other examples, there may well be a points deduction. The quote the EP have taken relates to what he said if there is just the one instance something BRFC are saying is not the case.

I am definitely not getting my hopes up on this as I still feel that it's a rather desperate wild goose chase.

And I'm STILL uncomfortable with it. I hate relying on lawyers to get us out of a situation from which we had a full 90 minutes to extricate ourselves - not even mentioning the 45 other 90 minutes in which we were mainly appalling.

This is a distraction from preparing for next season, will cost us a lot of money and is making us few friends.

Why is this club a permanent ****ing soap opera?

Eastdevonchairboy if more irregularities do come to light and your were found guilty. Say points were deducted and you relegated or expelled would you see it as fair after the season had come to a close?

so long as due process was followed yeah but I would expect Gas to be punished for not controling their fans I did hear a whisper that if Rovers had survived the fa would have docked points how many I dont know but as you went down anyway they didnt bother (proberly another half day at the fa )

I still think this is a waste of time

    But.........

Over the last two years we had lawyers, judicial reviews shoved down our throats as it was the legal process.

    Is this any different?

What's the point in having rules and then allow them to be ignored?

We might as we'll start doing the same if there is no punishment that fits the crime.

If they broke the rules this season they should be deducted points if that's the correct punishment as it made a difference to their finances and as such the players they employ.

Fingers crossed it won't take long for the FA to sort this mess out one way or the other.

    With all due respect EastDevon,

The last club to get a points deduction for a pitch invasion were Brighton in 1996 after they demonstrated about moving grounds. The reason they got the deduction was due to the games being abandoned. So whoever told you last is telling porky pies I am afraid.

Ps. That was the only occasion the FA has ever deducted points as far as I can tell.

someone telling you porkies about the points deduction coming our way if we had stayed up. if that had happened then you would need to hand a points deduction to:

bristol city for allowing around 500 fans on the pitch to approach the rovers end and trying to entice the rovers fans for a fight.... http://i1.ytimg.com/vi/dPo92rDjqqA/maxresdefault.jpg (side point, notice the police wearing riot gear ready to attack our fans who by the way is still in the stand but can only see 2 or 3 of them in their riot gear facing the city fans looking like they cant be assed).
wolves for allowing their fans on the pitch 8 or 9 times before the full time whistle in their game that seen them promoted which was their 6-4 game.
and all the rest of the teams who won automatic promotion as they all got on the pitch.
and all the teams who reached the play offs. after game 46 they invaded the pitch too.
and a lot of teams who survived relegation also got on the pitch.
no way was a points deduction coming our way.

6 individuals came together and formed a company called TRASHorfield. was supported and funded by the green party. green leader was 1 of the 6 individuals. thats whay took so long.

Seems like a bloody waste of money to me, how the F7ck can the club keep splashing the cash on non football related activities* is beyond me. (*I mean the likes of players not chasing f&cking dreams and grasping at straws to try and regain/retain league status.), fact is we weren't good enough last time round and with the players outed now we'd end up in the sh*t again).

F7ck me we ought to have some proper Lawyers on the board to stop the constant squabbles that Rovers current fraud of defectors keep involving the club in.

Its like a bloody Circus at The Mem, I lie at least you have bit of fun at a Circuis !

Err there's no need for that. Just act your age in future then eh?

For someone who eats and sleeps football you don't seem to know much about it.

to be honest, i wouldnt be surprised. he comes across as someone with a hiden agenda. most of his comments has been away from the wycombe board. mostly on ours but also has spent time on the city board too joining in with them!

On behalf of the WW fans on this forum I apologise for the intrusion on your board by EDC. We have had a good relationship on this forum and long may it remain so. As you may have seen he has been banned.
