What game was this idiot watching? 'It is early days in the Bluebirds career of Tom Adeyemi, but Cardiff fans can only hope they see more from the man signed from Birmingham City for £1m. He was quiet throughout here, in fact much of the game passed him by.' He was our best player for me. Didn't put a foot wrong. [SUP][/SUP]
I thought he was a bit quiet in the first 20 mins but grew into it and had a fine game after that, I can see him being better than pitbull in that position. We looked like we could have gone up a gear or two, happy with the result.
Couldn't make the game due to work but from reports Adeyemi was MOM for quite a few. Most of the journo's at the echo and western mail are rugby biased and their understanding of Football is limited. Looking forward to the Wigan game now
I see WOL has stuck another article by that Delme bloke again this morning - can the guy get any more bloody negative? "By contrast an opener against a pie and chips outfit like Huddersfield was something to be endured rather than savoured, a box to be ticked on what is hopefully a road to relegation redemption." Well I enjoyed it anyway. Following on to the OP, I thought Adeyemi got better as the game progressed. After Whitt's goal and particularly when Gunnar replaced Burgi, he blossomed into a contender for MOM - but not quite for me. I didn't think I'd say this at the start of the season, but that was a toss up between Brayford and Kenwyne overall, with the last half hour award going to Gunnar.
I read the WM today and Philips gave Adeyemi 6. I had him as my MOM. He gave Hudson 8 and Connolly 7. Adeyami did a lot of work, breaking up play and passing sensibly. He was in the right place leading up to the 3rd goal. Apart from Whitt's goal what the heck did he do? These journos don't see the game like us.
I've been reading some of the recent local journo articles with an increasing sense of amazement. They seem to have lost the plot completely, and don't realise that most of us have moved on from the negativity of last season. But with them we have to fight a constant battle. It seems that all news is bad news as far as they are concerned. (I stopped buying the Eggo last year because of the overwhelming negativity and repetitive muck raking - and the publicity, credence and column inches given to nutters who do not seem to be in tune with most of us, but are more concerned with creating headlines and unrest).
jesus fking Christ, look there isn't a paper out there without its own agenda........ffs lads stop reading the fking things its 2014 and unless you just got hatched from an egg, then im sure you will know the lies of hate that fills them. not bought the echo since it tried 2 condemn Cardiff fans years back with photo`s of so called hooligans being paraded on the front cover, they tried the guilty before going 2 court public hanging without a care in the world...............fking shame on the muppets who fall for the bullshi..t the spew out day after day.
Whats the alternative, though Aber....ignorance? Fact is they report...thats what they're meant to do. I know they've all got their own agendas, but surely thats up to us whether we agree or disagree. I personally think the Echo/WM are OK, compared to reactionary stuff thats printed in, say the Daily Mail. However despite, disagreeing with virtually everything written in the DM, I still read it (on line - I wouldn't buy it) simply to get a balanced view of whats' going on.
Hmmmm.........only an opinion I know, but at least someone unbiased thought Adeyemi was decent enough. Made the matchday 2 team of the week along with Daehli and Kenwyne. http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2014/08/19/championship-team-of-the-week-matchday-two/
whiffle do I have 2 point out all the wrongs that comes from the media <jesus>.............if you want real journalists then look out side of the walls of the main stream butty
