Can we start again and salute an Englishman who, from humble beginnings, created one of the most moving pieces of music known to man.

    Only when I'm wrong <ok>

Just acknowledge the man and his music ffs.

If you're the 'Broadheath local' you claim to be please don't disrespect the bloke on a geographical technicality.

It would make you appear to be a small mined pedant which I'm sure you're not.

Look only a local or anyone who lives in the area would know the bell inn is in lower broadheath, maps/Google show otherwise have it
    wrong you claim it isn't.

Where were you from in the area Martley, Hallow, Sinton Green, Great Witley.

You now seem to claim l'm not from that area, are you for f**king real?

Look Ian runs the Bell Inn why don't you give him a call he will tell you what
I have kept telling you. Or go on the bell inn official website it tells you quite
clearly Martley Road Lower Broadheath what part of that doesn' t seem
    to sink in?

    OK, Elgar was wrong <ok>

Can you not just please acknowledge that the bloke was canny ffs <doh>

I've already explained that I was talking in the time of Elgar, not the world famous Ian, when the place was called Broadheath.

How ****ing thick can you be man ..........

Two points of facts I will bring up with you.
    1) I made a point of Elgar's statue being at the end of our High Street opposite
our Cathedral. Never once mentioned it being in Broadheath whatsover.
    Now there's clearly a link here. 'Worcester/Worcestershire'.
    2) I was just stating a fact that The Bell Inn is 'Actually' in Lower Broadheath.

Those are, in the main the two points of discussion I bought to this thread.

I now live in Cape Town running a successful business for the last 10 Years,
but still have ties with Worcestershire. All my family/relatives and friends still
live in the area I basically know the area almost like the back of my hand.
    I was there for 30+ year's.

I don't agree with anybody who tries to tell you things differently from an area
you were born in when they don't even come from the area.

I could easily go on Google and start sprouting off that I know more about
Mansfield than you do, to be honest, I know f**k all about Mansfield and
I rather keep it that way, because I really have no interest in the place.

You live in ****ing Cape Town man ...... are people supposed to guess you're talking about Worcester ffs <laugh>

It's not 'your high street', you don't live there ..... I take it your business has nowt to do with logic <doh>

Lighten up you dope, it was a thread about music and you're boring the ****ing life out of the thread.

I was talking about Elgar, in the time of Elgar and Elgar says he was from Broadheath.

But an immigrant, like you, reckons he knows better than a local .......... just like all newbies <doh>

Only in your opinion, because you totally missed the point of the thread, and you're the prat because you can't spell.

I hope your business doesn't rely on grammar or spelling.

Other people appreciated the thread and instantly got the point ...... you failed but believe you're superior.

My attitude is ****ing mint, I dedicated a harmless thread to decent posters and you try to destroy it.

My sympathy is with you, you're a very bitter man without a grain of decency <ok>

    You mean 'spouting' ffs <doh>

Sprouting, what the **** is that ....... is English your first language, you seem to have a very limited grasp.

If you're trying to pull someone up you should, at least, be sure of your facts, just as I am.

Elgar disagrees with you, as a local, but a bloke who moved there, then Cape Town, thinks he knows better.

    Sprouting <laugh>

I tend to avoid reading arguments on here, especially when I'm in then.

    This, however, is hilarious.

    It's a cracker <ok>

How the **** did a harmless thread, dedicated to the ex-servicemen on here, descend into a heated debate on parish boundaries and geography?

And how can a daft crack about Elgar, knocking out tunes on an imaginary piano, descend into a geography lecture?

I was born there, then moved to Cape Town to run my own business.

Do you have to go all silly with the smiley's?

Don't think you'll get an answer mate.

Just read a thread on another forum...'finally given up on not606' the reason being this thread.

are folks really upset that easily?

i can give you the link for it if you want.

How ****ing infantile can you get <doh>

I was jokingly ranting on about Elgar bashing out tunes on a pub piano and this knacker jumps in to start picking my 'facts' to pieces.

The point of the thread was to post a great piece of music from an English fella, and how it stirs the blood, not parish boundaries.

If it means so much to the bloke I promise never to call Lower Broadheath by the name Broadheath ever again, what was I thinking of?
I'm really surprised the Mods didn't ban me for my 'Broadheath, comment tbh.

I'll also promise never to say Barnes when I mean High Barnes or Durham when I mean Durham City <ok>

The trouble is with his type is that he sees nowt wrong in disrupting a harmless little thread to dispute a totally worthless point.

What makes him believe he has the right to do that, if I did it people like him would be up in arms.

Some might believe he simply has a ridiculous grudge against me and wanted to 'show me up'.

Three days he dragged it out and still couldn't prove me wrong.
But who gives a **** what the place is called ....... Elgar called it Broadheath and that's who I was talking about.

"Look your attitude really does stink and your really making yourself out to be a complete prat!!"

    I think I know who's the prat.
